  • @mikemags nah man were just as stupid. Think anti-depressants et al drugs on the market, not to mention hollywood pushin marijuana etc in movies these days. Theres always a niche for it

  • did You ever see the Ron Jeremy video of "The Flint BONES"?

  • @DoctorScuba unfortunately I have...

  • Fred Flint-Stoned.

  • They should have never infringed on the freedom of cigarette companies to advertise. They had some great commercials back in the day.

  • This is awesome! I use to watch the flintstones all the time as a kid!

  • So these were avalible in the Stone age too...What were they guys thinking?

  • the fuck?

  • These commercials are funny. It just shows you how stupid our past generations really were. They didn't question or challenge anything. Just a bunch of following morons who can't think for themselves. And THAT is why we are in trouble today folks. Blame our stupid parent's and grandparent's generations. That's why we clash with those generations today. They are used to being told what to do, and have no problem with that. We are innovators, and they're holding us back. We'll win in the end.

  • @hiptech Good choice to remove that idiotic comment. You don't sound too hopeful Mr.Sunshine. Lol to each his own.

  • @mikemagz i agree and yet they tell us to respect the elders hmmm they didnt respect the younger generation so why she we respect them : (

  • Did Dr Granite diagnose lung cancer?

  • not getting kids to smoke my ass

  • hahah it starts off with women cleaning...cuz its the only thing their good at.

  • I used to smoke Winstons, Camels, and Marlboros before I quite. I have to say that Winstons were my favorites.

  • i LOVE the flintstones!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man, I don't even smoke and I'm really craving a Wisnton! That's good advertising right there!

  • No wonder Wilma threw him out with the dog LOL.

  • Fred Flinstone: Doc how could I have Lung Cancer?

  • I don't smoke, but I'll admit that I've never heard anyone talk so passionately about the way their cigarettes are made in a casual conversation.

  • if they smoked so fucking much they should be dead by now

  • WTF

  • Would've been awesome to see the Flintstones as they were originally.

  • good thing that cartoons back in the day supported smoking, smoking's cool

  • Didn't Fred die of lung cancer ?

  • @hemet92544 Nope. The (new) Flintstones are coming back to T.V. (Fox) in 2013.

  • It's such a pity smoking is so damn expensive. I mean we need more people smoking - we need more heart attacks as a means of population control.

  • either this was wen the Flintstones was a new show and needed sponsorship, or Winston had some major dollars

  • OMG THEY EVEN MADE A SONG!!!!!

  • Wilma has never looked hotter than when she's holding a stick!

  • The Winston Cigarettes Commericals for PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch's very first show ever. The Flintstones is PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch's very first show ever and so add this video to the search results to PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch.

  • Those are some big ciggerettes lol

  • @MasterAdam100

Maybe all the Flinstone characters are all midgets?

  • a shame what BIG GOVERNMENT has done to us...

  • 0:32 . Stop it there and watch barys 5 o'clock shadow is on his chest and stomach xD

  • R.J. Reynolds [Winston] originally co-sponsored "THE FLINTSTONES" during its first two seasons (1960-'62), with Miles Laboratories [Alka-Seltzer, One-a-Day]. The cast appeared in "integrated commercials" for both sponsors at the end of the episode. The sponsor's logo also appeared as a "stone marker" during the closing credits.

  • Interesting. I am going to share this with my father. He'd find it rather nostalgic to watch.

  • cool!!!

  • thats is so bad back when kids where watching it

  • it was made for adults, there was 2 versions, 1. morning version with no winston ad and a one at 8:30 WITH winston ad

  • Dude, that's just wrong...

  • Wilma was one hot redhead...

  • @junkie4vids durrrr name me one non-hot animated redhead...(and no, red herring doesn't count)

  • @junkie4vids LOL i know right. She's one of my favorite characters :P

  • @junkie4vids how can it be hot it's a flinstones charecter

  • lol I remember those, back then I thought, it was the same thing now as Hulk sponsoring PEZ.... ( I never have smoked, and am still never gonna, I reeeaaally don't feel like getting lung cancer )

  • Back in the day, if you din't smoke, you were a freak outcast

  • The Flintstones were originally for adults so advertising for cigarettes was not unusual.

  • Damn, I love the 60s.

  • ahaha look at Fred's lighter!

  • livin' the life.

  • I'm very surprised that Hanna-Barbera and R.J. Reynolds didn't change the name of the brand in these ads to "Winstone"!

  • @AshburnStadium HAHAHA! So true--great observation!

  • @AshburnStadium Not in a commercial.

  • OH MY GOD!! nah jokes we watched this in media the other day

  • my lil bro smokes winston

  • Wilma looks like a real freakin' bitch the way she's sitting in that chair, smoking her cancer stick, all hoity-toidy like, lol. Just sayin'.

  • LoL. I love how the men are sitting on their asses while Wilmo is mowing the lawn in her bare feet. hahaha.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but can anyone tell me what audience this cartoon was intended for? Lolz!

  • it was actually intended for adults... the Simpsons of the 60's if you will ;)

  • It was the first prime-time cartoon show, definitely for adults. Top Cat was the second.

  • lol how did the drawers did the winston pack so realistic and good and the flinstones not

  • at 2:32 Fred appears to detach the bones in his hand so as to be able to show the Winston label.

  • no you can actually put your hand in that position

  • Funny how even a national company wouldn't pay extra for color.

  • Comment removed

  • Ah, yes, the early days of television...
