  • Probably easier if you undo the Pin from the Clasp. Just use a push pin. Just be careful not to lose the spring bar. BTW, most people don't have forceps.

I was able to close my watch back by putting the watch between 2 telephone books and put my knee on it. Or you could use a telephone book and a small piece of wood with a small hammer. Make sure you get one side secure and then put it in place.

  • Thank you very much. I had a very old watch that I stopped wearing because of the battery. This was very easy and very informative! Grace and Peace.

  • @christologist Hey thanks! Glad it helped.

  • Wrong video Rickmestohud when i did remove the cap i saw a rubber ring. taht becuase its water tight. if you hammer a screwdrivr on that ring i think the rubber ring destroy;s but it depens on what kinda watch you have some are cheap and some are expensive en realy good for water

  • @spongeex Yes, if you have an expensive watch that you don't want to mess with, I'd just take it to a jeweler. However, I like to try things myself, even if I damage expensive things...ha. Thanks for watching!

  • haha I got the same screw driver kit sitting in front of me only in a other colour :P

  • Haha, thank you for WATCHing!

  • COOL screw driver!!!

  • if you open it and then re-close it will it stop being water-tight?

  • @ElderKingpin As long as you are careful you should be fine. There was a small rubber gasket that went around the cover on the inside, which made it water tight. I made sure to keep it in position when I placed the cover back on.
