this is my best friend gary in the S-10 who was being nice and trying to pull that jeep out the tow truck got stuck trying to get to him.thats why you see him pulling him out. and the park was going to close. he used there strap that was beat up. everything was hooked up 100% correct, minus a strap dampener.

1:55 reminds me of the jokers that tried pulling my CJ out of a hole I fell in. They were all jacked up and locked and all they did was a bunch of damage until I eventually told them to fuck off and get lost.

I called a buddy with a bone stock a1/2 ton Chev and we got out, lol.

All the gear in the world isn't a substitute for brains.

I'm guessing they hooked straps together with a clevis or the recover point failed.

damn good thing there was no passenger in the s-10 and bravo for not wheeling alone but always take a truck with at least a v-8 and also theres nothing wrong with taking at least 3/8 expanded metal plate and welding it to the roll bar protecting the rear window it is required to be in the moonlight stompers club with out it your excluded from the event people die from that shit your the only one looking after your own ass

i do believe a 4 inch tow strap is in order. or at least a heavy blanket over the strap.

+/-7500 lbs truck +/-3500lbs jeep 11000 lbs pull force get a bigger rope need at least 30000-60000 strap that way never worry about breaking
