heyheyheyhey, i come up with things 100x worse than this all the time, and think to myself "that would be a kick ass movie"..it doesnt make me insane..it's about being creative, and thinking of ways to shock and entertain people with things they probably would never dream of..cuz believe or not, sick twisted things like this is what people wanna see, violence is loved by many

Please iluvwine, there is a big difference between the violence in the coliseum and the illusion of violence in the movies. In the coliseum real people got hurt and died, actual blood was spilled. None of that happens in the movies, the violence is as fake as the blood(which FYI is made of corn syrup and red dye *Gasp*)

That may be but it still descensitizes you. We are not much different from our roman bretheren. We love violence in our sports. Hockey fights, boxing, wrestling, football, and lets not forget soccer. How many refs were killed by hordes of maniacal fans? We love war. The US military uses videogames and metal music to entice youths to join the military and to brainwash them so they could fight for someone elses greed. Lets face it, civilization was born through violence and it will end in it.
