  • This is so touching, i cried. :/

  • Bravo bravo... Many of my teachers have touched me in ways big and small, just like how Mrs Chong did for Edwin...

  • OMG DEYI SECONDARY SCHOOL!!!111 one one one one

  • @dynamics im sorry thats just rubbish. I can boldy say that from my sec sch there isnt many teachers that would volunterily go the extra mile to help a stuggling student. Students are the ones that have to take the initiative which is really hard.

  • I clicked on this to see a cute boy.

  • you can't do this kind of thing these days as a teacher, since all you'll get is a sexual harassment case on your hands. RIP education.

  • Oh my teacher jokingly wanted us to bring her out like this guy did after we graduated, except say that we're going on a drive in our "BMW"s. :) Good Memories.

  • tis is my school leh :)

  • :')

  • How many teachers like Mrs Chong can you find these days? They just teach and leave the class, whatever happens afterwards, its none of their business.

  • The odds of meeting such a teacher are similar to the odds of meeting a politician who, for once, will tell the truth.

  • 1:24 siao eh the window so big, make effect also abit too much arh

  • Anachronism aside the boy's cute!

  • I am EM3 and N(T) student. I tot I was genius so I play maple & dota while studying for exams in the past. In fact, I am late bloomer seriously perusing BFS degree now. Ty you for your determination.

  • i did not know that in 1997 there were already so popular for students to have mobile phones and YET Edwin has family problems how can he afford such a device it does not come cheap in 1997...

  • @TheHeinrichYin how you know is 1997

  • @frankmic The date on the board @0.26

  • HAHAHA MOE trying to use propaganda? I'm sorry but most of the teachers will just be like: You have already grown up so what you want to score for your exams is your choice. I don't care about what you do all these, its your choice.

  • @wayne1e2 I guess you have not met this kind of teacher.

  • @wayne1e2 You say most, but not all. There are some teachers who care. And teachers who care this much are very rare. Plus this is in the 1997s, the teachers at that time might be different from the teachers now. You may never know. I don't see how this is propaganda.

  • That guy looks like KevJumba LOL.

  • nowadays sec 3 kids got cool hairstyles

  • oh gawd i am crying

  • if this was a movie it would be the best singapore movie, and it would be the most unrealistic plot

  • @EricTanOfficial:

Truth is often stranger than fiction. I have seen such teachers before.

  • @EricTanOfficial I can say for sure that there are teachers like that. Those are the real teachers that should be teaching our young generation. but these teachers are getting lesser, unlike those teacher who dont care about their students.

  • These kinds of teachers in Singapore? Nahhhhhh

  • @isanorhadi

Just because you have never encountered this kind of teachers, does not mean they do not exist.

  • I ALWAYS cry when I see this at the movies. My heart truly breaks for this beautiful boy and I can only hope that there are teachers who can influence their students enough to help in these extreme situations. A teacher has huge responsibilities and that is why, it takes a very special individual to do this crucial job.

  • How I wish I had this kind of teacher !

  • Wish that this was a movie ! :(

  • @DonWonderwiess this IS a movie, purely fictional that does'nt exist.

  • @hadou31shakkahou

Perhaps this might be fictional. But I have seen such teachers before.

  • This is indeed a touching story. We might say that there aren't many teachers out there who will go such a long way, which might be true. But there ARE teachers, lots of them, who do show that they care, and all you need are these small gestures and more importantly, a teacher's sincerity, that makes a student's journey of education a pleasant, memorable and meaningful one.

  • Wish I had that kinda teacher during my schooling time.

  • its true. quality's just not there. we could use some changes. nie would be a good start.

  • I know I represent a small sample size but, I personally feel that there is no quality control at MOE. And notwithstanding the fact that quality is scarce, it is not well apportioned.

  • Rare teacher.

  • A good teacher we'll never forget but i never seen this kind of teacher in my life

  • i love this video
