For authentic look and feel I would give it 9/10 because the only incorrect parts are that the trigger guard is slightly too small and the selector switch moves horizontally rather than vertically. Also its by far the cheapest replica at £210.00, because other replicas cost in the thousands. As an airsoft weapon, it has far too much power at 450fps (i had to lower the power for it to be safe to use at a registered airsoft site) Also...

@MrOlekul alot of the Stg44 airsoft guns were chronoing at 450 fps out of the box, including my own. Thats incredibly powerful especially for an chinese made AEG. My own gun in the video was at 450fps but I got it downgraded to 329 because that is the legal limit for use on airsoft sites here.

However Germans did develop the first infra-red night sight towards the end of the war called the 'Vampir' night sight which was designed for use on this exact gun.

The components that make up and Airsoft gun are the same as a real firearm even with a full steel/metal body. That is just a myth that came up in China when airsoft guns were being developed there.
@kaiftw actually the internals of an airsoft gun have no resemblence to a real firearms at all, an airsoft gun uses a gearbox and a compressed air system, completely different to a real firearm. Also most real firearms are made from stainless steel or carbon steel. Few, if any airsoft guns are ever made from these. however just look it up and you can see that airsoft guns have been converted in the past.
@fallschirmjager0000 That was back then, the ones they make now you can't really convert. You are better off buying a real gun instead of converting an airsoft gun. It's much more expensive to convert one especially since you have to rechamber and fix the barrel.
@sabufinisher the power of an airsoft gun is generally measure in how fast the pellet can travel, this speed is measured in 'feet per second' which is shortened to fps. for example the one in this video is 328fps. when your buying your gun just make sure you know the laws in your region/country before you buy because certain areas can actually regard them as firearms if they fire over a certain fps limit.

Well they are the next best thing when compared with an air gun, they shoot harder than paintball guns. The quality of these rifs (realistic imitation firearms) airsoft guns is superb and you would really need to know your stuff to tell the difference between the real thing.
Most will shoot about 330fps although the one in this video is 453fps. Most are made from the same materials and are the same weight as the real thing. The quality and realism is improving with time.
There is something you need to know however. The company AGM that makes both this gun (stg44) and the Mp40 smg has apparently stopped producing these guns, i do not know for sure but many people talked of this. I advise you to do what i did and snatch one while you still can. When will you ever be able to get and stg44 for under £200???
If you are using the battery that was supplied with the mp40, that could be your problem. They often dont work and with the result that many people think their gun is bust when infact a new batt is all they need.

The components that make up and Airsoft gun are the same as a real firearm even with a full steel/metal body. That is just a myth that came up in China when airsoft guns were being developed there.

@kaiftw actually the internals of an airsoft gun have no resemblence to a real firearms at all, an airsoft gun uses a gearbox and a compressed air system, completely different to a real firearm. Also most real firearms are made from stainless steel or carbon steel. Few, if any airsoft guns are ever made from these. however just look it up and you can see that airsoft guns have been converted in the past.

@fallschirmjager0000 That was back then, the ones they make now you can't really convert. You are better off buying a real gun instead of converting an airsoft gun. It's much more expensive to convert one especially since you have to rechamber and fix the barrel.

@sabufinisher the power of an airsoft gun is generally measure in how fast the pellet can travel, this speed is measured in 'feet per second' which is shortened to fps. for example the one in this video is 328fps. when your buying your gun just make sure you know the laws in your region/country before you buy because certain areas can actually regard them as firearms if they fire over a certain fps limit.

Well they are the next best thing when compared with an air gun, they shoot harder than paintball guns. The quality of these rifs (realistic imitation firearms) airsoft guns is superb and you would really need to know your stuff to tell the difference between the real thing.
Most will shoot about 330fps although the one in this video is 453fps. Most are made from the same materials and are the same weight as the real thing. The quality and realism is improving with time.

There is something you need to know however. The company AGM that makes both this gun (stg44) and the Mp40 smg has apparently stopped producing these guns, i do not know for sure but many people talked of this. I advise you to do what i did and snatch one while you still can. When will you ever be able to get and stg44 for under £200???

If you are using the battery that was supplied with the mp40, that could be your problem. They often dont work and with the result that many people think their gun is bust when infact a new batt is all they need.
