Amie is the spelling of female friend in french as far as i can remember, so could be what georginiou said about relating to love but for me has always been about the friendship afterwards aswell. "same old scenario same old rain but no explosions here" they are mates but still have their ups and downs but no explosions cause neither is as emotionally invested anymore kinda thing so could be any woman, any friend.

For me, these two lines sum everything about being in and out of love. He's not a miracle, there is nothing special about him, he is replaceable. She is not a saint, not a great person, flawed.

The soldier part is the best. Despite battling, enduring, and fighting - it is in vain, it is futile.

Perfectly summarises the nature of love, broken or not.

Not sure, but referencing "Story of O" is a bold enough statement. We talked it over (briefly... very briefly) in my lit class, and couldn't really decide what it means. I guess, to me it just seems like we haven't come as far as we thought for women's rights. In any case, considering in light of the book makes it even more heart-wrenching.

(However, it's a gritty novel... very graphic.)

A gorgeous song that never fails to bring tears to my eyes. This song came out at the time Amy Gonzales a beautiful talented 18yr old girl was killed in our town. She was knocked down by a drunk driver on Christmas Eve. This song always makes me think of her and the tragic loss of someone so young and beautiful.
