  • BARCLAYS SAVE LAW

LLOYDS TSB DETECTIVE SCOTT MASLEN MARTIN TRUFFLES

  • It took 10 days for every figure to fire and there is a chromed plated sword on display there. And the City of Xi'an has a wall built around a modern city

one of the most interesting Cities in the world very beautiful. A farmer found the first artifact while digging a well. He helps with the planning of the Museum. I would like to see the inside of the Emperors tomb that would be exciting.

  • that would be really creepy if all of the warriors were human... then they were somehow turned to clay, it almost seems like thats a possibility because every single one has a different face.. haha but i dont think thats very true.. anyone ever thought about that

  • the figures are real soldiers of his army

  • Everything is according to rank. Height, facial features, position in the pits ect.

  • lol it would take a while to see all of them im preety sure theres like 7,500 or something i cant remember

  • @yche332 infact, every single face of the soldiers are different.

  • This is one place I have always dreamt of going to since I was very young and seeing it in a National Geographic Magazine... I am going to China next year and guess where I am going. Thank you so much for this piece...

  • The British Museum in London has this exhibit called "The First Emperor - The Terracotta Army". I saw it, Not to be missed if you're in london.

  • Very imformative, thank you! I appreciate you having a tour guide explain everything. When we visited XIAN, CHina in Summer of 2005 we did not get this explanation. The original farmer was there, signing his name :) He must be VERY old now!

  • Fantastic, nice post! I love this Terracotta Army and would dearly like to visit your site one day. I haven't seen much evidence of armourments though, I would have thought that there should be swords and bows and arrows. I guess that the digging still continues and there are many things yet to be discovered. Amazing..

  • I can answer that. When a rival general looted to tomb and set fire to it causing damage to the soldiers, he also took the original weapons that the soldiers held.

  • nice nice very nice

  • Thank you soo much for posting this =]
