When I went 2 weeks ago Jack was there with Angelica. I think they got rid of Jack because he was *ahem* a bit too much of a ladies man or so I heard. But I think if they kept Angelica with him, that issue would be resolved. I hope they keep them permanently! The two of them were wonderful when I met them :)

I hear the real reason (though Disney will deny it) why they took him out was because drunk women were flashing their Breasts at the Captain. Disney can deny it all they want but I think that's a LOT more believable than "he doesn't make enough money." And maybe parents didn't care for his constant alcohol references. Also, I get the feeling the "characters can't interact with each other" rule is probably more for Orlando than Anihiem. I see characters do stuff like this at Disneyland a lot.

Why is it a rule that Disney characters from different movies cant interact with each other? What a stupid rule. Surely the kids would like to see each and every character interacting with each other because it's disneyland. The kids would think that the characters all live together so then obviously would talk to each other.

its not a rule, its just the way it works out, the Pirates were always around Orleans, the Fantasyland group were always around each other etc.

Ever since the Princesses got their Faire, you never see them out and about.

For me, the life and soul of Disneyland is the Fantasyland crew- Wonderland and Neverland, mostly.

@Mongoose015 First, it's sort of like the lands. When u go into one land you shouldnt be able to see or hear the other. Its its not that the characters cant interact with each other, the just have to be the same concept. for example, Belle can talk to the other princesses. And Mickey can wave to any character really. a more common example is Fantasyland where Peter Pan Wendy Alice Queen of hearts tweedle dee and dum and the hatter all play together

I thought it was against the rules...at least that's what I read in a Cast Member Journal posted online. He said that characters weren't allowed to interact with other characters because it destroys the "illusion" of the different worlds that Disneyland creates.
