Ok the title might be a bit much LOL, but got me watching. Great to find some of the vid from the era I was watching being uploaded.

Don't see them nowadays but Mark Simpson was a mate, and I was helping Darren Gowshall's father with his car at that time. If that was the final of the Consolation Semi at Buxton I took Darren, as we had a problem with the trailer wheel on the journey, and I had to play catch-up to get there on time.

Hawayan, I take it you usually watch American Stocks? These are UK F2 stocks with highly tuned ,but,not greatly modified "stock" engines from road going vehicles and slotted into a single seat chassis and very excitng to watch,bear in mind this is an old video and it is a lot faster now. The F1 stocks of years ago ,in the 70's used to use chevy V6 and I remember one that had a chevy V12,imagine the power to weight ratio on that even as a stock engine.
