To bad Darwin went to the Galapagos, instead of Hawaii. He would have seen a greater diversity of finches there. Unfortunately, we only had a chance to see just three species of them. But isolation on the islands caused a great diversity to inhabit new niches. Did you have a chance to see the bill shapes? That shows what type of niches they filled.
