  • Do u have a SoundCloud account?

  • Wow now i would love to listen to that in concert. Well done, as an instrument player myself i think that your composition was truly inspirational.

  • I recently uploaded a composition of mine based on the same theme. It's nice to hear someone else's interpretation. There are some very moving passages in your piece and I must admit it's quite epic! :D

    Great work.

  • i would like to get the part to clarinet in to this sonnnnnggg plzzzzz

  • it somewhat fells alittle bit like japanesse or chinese music from 0:06 -1:12

  • I listen to this music many times, but never tire of it. It is my favorite piece from all you have composed so far from your 112 compositions. Hope, one day, the piece will be played by real orchestra in gorgeous theater.

  • What program is that?

  • @benblue3 sibelius 6.0

  • I love to hear this in an epic movie. It's such an awesome job, GJ!

  • Would love to hear this live. It'd definitely be amazing.

  • Being a composer myself, I must say this is very unique! Did you write this out before the input into Sibelius?

  • amazing piece, the title and the music itself touches my heart so deeply.

  • is there a part for tenor saxophone... lol is there like a transcribed one to saxophones or sonething?

  • I am a professional musician who is fresh out of college. I must say that I love your work. It is better than a lot of the music I have played so far in my carrer. Please write another master piece like this one. By the way I play trombone.

  • beautiful

    magnificent

    just perfect

  • What program do yo use?

  • @KujaAndGarnet Sibelius to write, and uhh, camstudio to record. then i use windows movie maker to compile.

  • nice work

  • @musicalbasics

Um... is it legal to ask you for the music for my orchestra to play at concerts? I dunno if they'd like me finding random people on youtube's pieces to play...

  • can u get me a copy!?! for trumpet

  • Nicely done, sir!

  • When you write, it's very emotional. An your titles fit so well. Great job!

  • I think I have fallen in love with this music. I love the clarinet part and all the solos.

  • Amazing, emotional, encouraging, energetic, I love it so much. Great Job!!!

  • Can you send me a copy too? Por Favor?

  • Okay u spent two months on this and you have only 500 views you must get this vid featured trust me it deserves millions of views much more than some other stuff on the tube

  • Ok man u need to be a superstar asap

  • I aspire to be a screenwriter. Like, for a real movie. And like Tarantino, I sometimes get ideas from listening to a certain piece. And that's... that's just giving me tons and tons of epic ideas.

  • I've started using finale and i can't do i thing with it

  • You're fantastic!

It is only a matter of time before someone discovers your talent, and then you will be a star.

  • i likeeeeeeee. LOL i'm glad josh showed this to me

  • I feel the need to comment twice on this, simply because it is so beautiful. Awesome job

  • You should add onto Gustav Holst's Planets suite and name it "Virtus the Courageous" than demand a planet be named "Virtus" ... or something like that

  • I listen to nothing but classical everyday of my life. Not many pieces show such exuberence as this. The progression is so smooth... Not a genre I can name could describe the level spirit behind this piece. I cannot wait to hear it played by real people. (I'm going to start doing some advertising for you here in Texas. We take our band seriously, and this DESERVES to be heard)

  • I think you have too much talent, definitly go into the music industry.

  • Amazing work, really talented!

  • I am completely blown away. The piano version of Courage was great, but this is just amazing. I love the part where the (clarinet?) plays the theme alone, and then the gradual buildup to the spectacular climax at 8:37. Tell me when this piece premieres in Carnegie Hall. :)

  • Oh man, I really can't narrow down all the parts I love and why; but long story short, every tempo drop, was amazing, and then the build up again, was just perfect man, The double bass, the french horn and the flutes dded a nice kick to the "Courange feeling", not to mention the cellos. Your efforts really paid up on this one dude. How long did it take you to put every instrument together dude? God I love those drums lol

  • @BabboGuitarist10 hey babbo... thanks man. i'm glad you liked the buildups and transition lines. this took me over 2 months, and many times i just wanted to give up. but your comments on my other videos as well as others kept me going :)

  • @musicalbasics It really is quite amazing. What program did you use to write it?

  • Wow, that's INCREDIBLE. You must have put loads of effort into it - go publish it or something!

  • I have fallen in love with your siren songs.

  • @ChaoticSupernova siren? lol, what do you mean by that?

  • @musicalbasics It's a reference to Greek Mythology. Sirens were creatures who sang beautifully to lure sailors to them so they would shipwreck on their island.

  • @musicalbasics means it calls to someone and draws them in i think

  • @musicalbasics the songs of sirens were so hauntingly beautiful that they would cause the ancient greek sailors to literally kill themselves in an effort to get closer to the singers. Basically, it was really really good music.

  • @Hawisher13 ty for the explanation, and for the compliments :). the program i used was sibelius.

  • You have a life ahead of you... Maby not soon but eventually you'll get found.

  • Big Skills, writing for so many instruments...Orchestral geniality!

I truly hope your compositions will be used widely and don't end up in a drawer:-)

  • @Mariekesone hey marie, thanks haha. yeah, i hope they don't end up in a drawer either.... eeeep!

  • whoa that was awesome

Only if I had your talent...

I've probably replayed this video like 5 times already.

  • I am awed with your creativity and ability to write the music as well as put it together with technology. I bet Beethoven would envy you for not having to hand scribe the scores.

I hope you aced the course.

  • This. Is. Phenomenal. THIS is what I wish I could write. Two quick questions:

    1. What was this written in (program used)?

    2. What was the overall tempo? Just curious.

  • @grimreaper10000 ignore the second question...

  • @grimreaper10000 Hey grim, thanks! lol. The program is sibelius, just using their built-in sound system. The tempo is 100 for most of it, then dropping to 92 for the fast sections.

  • @musicalbasics Dropping the tempo, really? Huh. And I've never heard of that program, but I'll look it up, thanks!

Oh god that is more money than I have...sticking with Finale, then.
