  • Way not to play a guitarron.

  • pan pipes would be intresting to play. they expensiv?

  • i love it

  • Muy interesante, aún que el típico interpretación del guitarrón es a doble cuerda, pero si, si constato que es buena propuesta, que solo esta en A, los hispanoparlantes buscamos hacer el español el lider como lengua

  • Oh My God, this was Amazing! Loved it:)

  • Mexican Guitarron, is a wonderful & powerful instrument!

  • This video introduced me to the sounds of a guitarron. I never heard such a large acoustic bass before. Thanks =]

  • @MusicBySav , you have never heard an upright played before?

  • @ado654 whoops =]. I meant the power coming from the guitarron. For some reason, this registers as a more powerful sound than the upright

  • @MusicBySav , I agree, i have actually heard them played together, and the guitarron has a particular potency about itself.

  • AMAZING!

    Nice guitar.

  • So nice.

  • all he is does is strum you are also suppose to use the neck get difrerent notes

it still adds a cool sound but it is suppose

  • @MrEddienoe

A lot of Guitarron players do that. It is very big, so it resonates like a drum.

  • @MrEddienoe hi welcome to music class ;)

  • Beautiful!

  • Pure mint.

  • Mellow.............

  • i had an idea, and since there seem to be alot of guitarron players here, i figured i could get some decent feed back, what about using the guitarron in junkyard blues music, instead of the upright basses that are usually used, i'm a bassist/singer and am fascinated by this instrument

  • I think it would be a fine alternative to a stand-up base in many situations. Go for it!

  • very very nice...:O)

  • that is a nice ass guitarron

  • @OaklandMOBSHIT - you gotta admit, it IS like an arse with strings that you just wanna SPANK SPANK SPANK!!!

  • Beautiful Guitarron

  • Nice! I'm glad people are using the Guitarron in

non-traditional music settings.I read that the bass

player for the Eagles used a Guitarron on the song "New Kid in Town" back in 1976! We need

more Guitarron when Upright Basses are not

    available! Cheers!

  • beautiful...

  • Guys, this is awesome! It transports you to another realm of awareness!

  • An excellent performance!!

  • You guy's are awsome! I play mariachi guitarron for 30 years and I have never heard anything so cool like that..I would like to play this in honor of you most talented Maestros. I play @ the popular restaurante "La Fuente" in the beautiful Desert city in the world, "Tucson Az."

Keep up the cool stuff. Adios su amigo "El Ron del Guitarron".

  • I am also a Guitarronist, and this guy is pretty good indeed! I've tried to play the intrument like that in the past, but I didn't know what to acompany it with. Heh, now I know! I play in Mariachi Juvenil Halcon, and I love my instrument. Sigue asi!

  • That's a Mariachi Guitarron.

  • Very cool!!!

  • it sounds more like eastern european music. Very nice!

  • That's crazy! They used latin amaerican instruments and got almost a celtic sound from them. Most latin american instruments were the indian's copies of old european instruments so it's only Fitting that they have a good medieval sound to them. I liked that.

  • that was amazing

  • love the guitaron

  • nice

  • ole!
