Those ribs look delicious! I gave up on fire and saved up for a Cookshack electric smoker oven. I've made a few things on it. The great thing about it is I put in a pork shoulder, a few pieces of apple or hickory wood, plug in the oven, set it to 250°, then walk away for about 17 hours. Pull it and mix in some of my BBQ Sauce for Amateurs and voila! the best pulled pork sandwich in Silicon Valley! Hope you'll take a look. Thanks for a great and inspiring video!

Wow, I'm from the south and we tend to thing we know our food(s), especially ribs but last night a few shipmates and I ate at Twin Anchors and it was too delicious!! :). I mean the wait, seem almost not even there and the customer service beyond the call of duty. The hostess was even nice enough to give my shipmates and I menus for memories. Hands down a must visit if ever in Chicago...ps- don't get the half rack...you'll only make yourself made wanting more ;)

i just made some "Lloyds BBQ beef ribs." Its a premade package of either beef or pork ribs with the most amazing sauce. You can either bbq it, microwave it, or put in oven. since its cold outside i put it in oven for about an hour. Just finished eating and was surprised at how tasty and high quality the meat was. the sauce was amazing too! I got the package from Ralphs supermarket. It can feed 3 but feeds 2 until they are full. Try it guys, u wont be disappointed

OK, Chicago is a great food town, but almost nobody knows how to do ribs around here. "Chicago-style" ribs like you find at Gale Street and Twin Anchors are particularly disgusting. They're like meat pudding or something with bones in them. The only places I know of who are doing it right are Smoque, Honey 1, and Lem's. Hecky's isn't bad but they're a little pricey and they're not quite up to par compared to Smoque/Honey 1/Lem's.

(they'll probably spit in my food over the bible comment, very proper/religious family that runs it) If you find yourself on I-45 in texas at mile marker 164, you're one of the lucky ones. Head east for 100 feet and take a right into what looks like a firework stand. They kill their meat and cook it fresh from the farm. BEST sliced brisket and sauce ever. This is all based on my opinion, but don't knock it until you've tried it.
