I don't know if its just me but his punches look sloppy as well as his chamber.. And to be honest.. sparring is completely different than whatever "this" is.. It looks more like hes trying to teach forms(poomsae) not sparring.

im a yellow belt in tradditional taekwondo and they are called samsooshiks

@tumpai1105: this is just a sparring system u have to learn as a beginner..normally u practice that with a partner..after this u start with 2 step sparring and then with 1 step sparring..

after these exercises u can start with semi-free and freesparring..this is without contact..but if friends practice togheter u can do it with contact..then u can do sport sparring (with sparring gear-->glowes ect.)

I'm not TKD. I'm actually Kajukenbo. I'm curious. What's the purpose to 3 step sparring? It doesn't look like "self defense" and it doesn't look like any TKD I've even sparred against. Is it a drill? What are you trying to teach when you teach this? Just curious.

its an atention stance and a bow, it is a military art, and its not stupid, if you live near cardiff then let me know and u can come to a "real" traditional taekwondo class we dont do that crap in thei vid.

if you don't do this, then you don't do tkd. If you do some hardcore training that is great, but this is tkd. If you're instructor doesn't teach you this in basic form then you are doing some other martial art.
