  • dng tht is a big pice of meat

  • one of the best videos on jerky with good music too:) thank you

  • Who taught you how to cook?

  • @WisdomIsEternal self taught and family members.

  • good video cant wait to try this out

  • great video.....

  • @songforamericans thanks I'm doing a batch right now of my BBQ blend flavor...yum...yum...yum

  • @familyhistory09 why does the beef jerky from the shop not break, its more like runner structure. also where do you get such a big steak? isnt that very expensive_

  • @veryfuck when you go to the meat market and you got an extra 30-60 bucks, ask the butcher people if they can get you a deal on bottom round or top "flats." Speak their language "Flats." It will be one huge chunk of meat all kryo packed from their supplier. If you are comfortable with it you will have to trim the fat off the side, then cut it up into large roasts sizes, then break it down from there. If you want your own lean ground beef, get a grinder too and make it as lean as you want.

  • @veryfuck everyone makes their jerky different, some companies make it really dry and less harsh chemicals and preservatives, some more moist, doesn't break, it is up to of what you personally like. I like mine a bit moist and chewy. But I also don't take any chances and long term storage just put it in the freezer till ready to use it. I will try to down the road make another video for you folks with a BBQ blend jerky recipe. Enjoy...thanks for your questions.

  • can i do this with individually wrapped cuts from the butcher shop? say instead of the roast could i use 5 pounds of round steak or what other cuts could i use?

  • @ckyguy5 you can use whatever red meat you want, it could be steak cuts, whatever works for you. My only advise is make sure the meat is lean and not marbled with fat.

  • can u use moose

  • @pecker69er1 you can do the recipe with venison, moose, ostrich, emu, and buffalo....

  • HOLY SHIT!!! 1:20 THATS ALOT OF BEEF JERKY!!! XD

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • whats the liquid in the pan before u put the garlic in

  • @recoveringcultmember Thats too bad cuz you missed a kick ass song.. :D

  • @backwoodsminuteman Aint that right radar love

  • If you are having any trouble cutting the meat into thin slices, I'd suggest getting a Ceramic knife. Even cheap ones ($30) are crazy sharp and will hold the edge for 10x as long on average.

  • thanks for the song . nice while watching

  • Nice vid!

  • properly made jerky can store at room temp for something like 4 years

  • @pissinacup666 I agree with you; however, depending on who is making the jerky, moisture content, cure content, etc, I just play it safe with people and suggest they just store in their freezer. With food and bacteria, I believe an once of prevention is a pound of cure.

  • yes this is teriyaki! Yum yum jerky....

  • lol no Teriyaki?

  • @rmojo23 lol @ american, what do you think teriyaki is? teriyaki is just sugar + soy sauce and if you want to be authentic, mirin and sake.

  • lol me and my papaw make deer jerky alot with a different marinade and my friends at school would love it. when huntin seasons almost over there all like "when you gonna make some more of that jerky?" lol.

  • that garlic and soya mix is THE best to marinade chicken, both chicken filet and the salad chicken you buy in small packages, it's just delicious.

  • Oh I agree it is delicious. Whether you're cooking a roast, steaks or making jerky, it is all in the marinade.

  • I might try this one, but what's the correlation between radar love and beef jerky?

  • Hey gotta have tunes with the jerky. That is an awesome song too. It is a legend, like Pink Floyd, Zeplin, etc...
