  • why does the narrator sound uninterested?

  • Come at me, bro.

  • I'd punch it.

  • The first one I saw: "wow, how beautiful"...

Now I can barely hold my disgust. I kill all the ones I see, and eat most. Others I feed them to big fishes... with the hope they would develop a taste for the pest.

  • I remember how the very first science project in first grade was about this fish.

God it feels so weird to see it again.

    Beautiful.

  • KILL THEM ALL!

    J/K

  • I want to hunt them!

  • No, actually your body will start tingling and feeling like bees beating the inside of your skin within a few minutes you will hardly be able to move a mucsle period, i worked at petco and got stung by one when i was tryna clean out the tank he wouldnt attack but i brushed him wrong next thing i know my hand hurts so bad im starting to grow tears they call the ambulance and they said im lucky it was only a small amount of poison i got, trust me.. hurts like hell! but, theyre protecting themselve

  • spear fish em :D

  • this sucks i see at least 3 lionfish every weekend when i go diving looks like there hear to stay like the snakehead:(

  • they are preparing an attack for spongebob clan!!

  • So just cook them and eat them, lul

  • ok humans lets go huntin?

  • HAHA suck shit fail! man u never see a line of lionfish like that in stable waters...talk about overrun! XD

  • on may 29 2010 a fisher saw a tarpon eat a lion fish in cabo rojo puerto rico.

on may 28 2010 a diver saw a mutton snnaper eat another lionfish in PR

  • When I went to Thailand I seen one of those while swimming.

  • actually this isnt 100% correct morey eels groupers , sharks all eat these fish

  • they should just mass capture this fish and sell em, really, so much aquarists love to have this fish in their tank, I know I do ^-^

  • false the stings hurt just like normal bee stings.

  • yea, the sting feels like a bee sting but its better descibed as though the bee had a needle for a stinger, instead of an actual stinger....lol

  • @trainkid12 which is excruciating painful. like they said you dumbass.

  • @R2Moody unless you have an allergic reaction.

  • O CRAP c thats y i never go into the water ._.

  • the ones that are sold , have been taken the venom spines...i think...or some modifications on genetic code to make them no poisonous

  • nah..they wild caught

  • actually the ones that are sold have venom in them, it doesn't kill though... unless you are allergic to the sting.

  • you have been misinformed; the spines are not taken off

  • no there not who told you that ,,,, thats 100 % bull !

  • taht one looks so cool =o

  • I have that same exact fish in my 180gal saltwater fish tank. Have had him for almost 2 years now, we named him Milton. My dad got stung once from him barely, thank god it wasn't a full sting. He eats maybe 19-20 to sometimes almost 30 goldfish or rosie feeders in one feeding.

  • wtb that tank, insane =O

and most awesome name for a fish :) Good that your dad didn't get hurt to bad then, since the vid said it had no enemies. (Guess if it was as big and aggresive as the shark, it would have been god of seas.)

  • Oh don't worry, my sister's boyfriend is on the Boston Red Sox ( right outta high school) and he's on the high AAA team, and in Florida. He says they're invading the shores and killing people off 5 to 10 at a time because of their size.

  • that kind of fish are very common in our place here in philippines

  • wow. i think its funny that they are just now realizing this issue in 2008-9 . im 26 and i remember catching one at pensacola beach when i was 9 or so. it was a small one. and only a few years ago me and a friend saw one while surfing at ft pickens that was full grown. get on the ball you fancy marine biologists. lol

  • slipknot- the nameless xD its so funny with this video...

  • lol???? I tried it, but i didnt felt anything :p

  • can u buy these lol? it was in that douce bigalo movie

  • Yes Kick2theFlip you can buy them, although they are VERY rare to find. Local pet stores around me know we love saltwater fish so they stock up on fish. Yes it was in the Deuce Bigalow movie.

  • Yes, you can buy them. They are venomous, so you have to be careful.

  • oh great, im going to north carolina next month.

  • can these kill humans?

  • most likely not, just painful

  • Possibly they are posionous and while not typically deadly to humans a few people have had allergic reactions leading to death.

  • beautifull

  • Lets beat the shit out of them when we're on vacation. ^_^

  • i have two of these in a 280 gallon fish tank there amazing but like the guy in this video said fatal beauty

  • 0:22 "...the colder temraptoors of ..." what accent is that? some part of canada?

  • Hahaha lol, you watched that movie too, haha its my fav movie too, and thats the first time i saw a lion fish, in that movie XD

  • cool lookin fish

  • lets hunt them to extinction in the Atlantic.

  • yes lets do that, we seem pretty good at it!

  • you know they eat other fish right? they are going to eat alot of Atlantic reef fish and probably put some on the endangered species. Lion fish are on top of there food chain.

  • Man why don't they invent some virus that is only lethal to lion fish then?

  • Pretty sure thats quite hard to do

  • Absolutely, I do not see any possible downside to your suggestion whatsoever.

  • I know it worked when rabbits were introduced in to Australasia.

  • That's odd, i always thought that species was called Dragonfish. Is it deadly to humans, or just excruciatingly painful?

  • nice

  • its cute xD

  • I aint scared of no lionfish bring it on!

  • i saw one in long island sound

  • preetttyy ;)

  • why lionfish? looks like a zebrafish to me.lol
