The supercharger has a bypass valve that stays open in vacuum conditions. I had is ziptied open for this run. ;)
I wanted to have the fastest FWD Olds in the world, so i put a bunch of money in it. It would be much faster if i put the engine in a Fiero, but there are a lot of fast fieros out there and not many FWD cutlasses. It was a good learning experience.

find me on cardomain- 2458244. Your DOHC could sound even better than the pushrod L67, all you have to do is plug you rear manifold and tap in the middle of the crossover, than 3" all the way back. The sound comes from the equal length headers, and in my case from the huge Stage3 Blower cam, the 2.5" secondaries and the free flowing turbo-back exhaust. Take a look @ my page 5 for details on the exhaust. A few 3800 camarao guys also have a similar sound ;)

I'd destroy AWD and RWD sticks with my FWD auto.
L67 is an m90 supercharged 3.8l v6 motor from GM. It's a pushrod motor with 8.5:1 compression. Guys at Intense-racing, ZZPerformance, and more importantly stattama have put on a turbo, added a turbo with the lower (twin charged) or even twin turbos. There are two of these cars (still FWD) running 9's.

It's the Getrag282, rebuild with SKF bearings and a SPEC Stage3(450LB.TQ.) clutch mated to a shaved Camaro flywheel. Also modified clutch fork.
