walmarts prepaid charge cards are a scam. once yuo buy thm yuo hav eo open them up to discover they are uselss. yuo have to reveal yuor SS number/phone/ telephone #, and address to them before using it. than yuo have to wait 10 days for the real credit card. usually resulting in a high charge added to yuor card.

Our laws are unnecessarily complicated because legislatures never have to worry about paying for all the laws they create. They just force the laws on us & force us to pay for them. update: Ms. Shank passed away 8/17/2010. Walmart ended up letting her keep the money after all the horrible PR. Thank God for the internet. Never would've happened otherwise.

I have noticed: as soon as a community is becoming bankrupt, a walmart moves in. It happens all the time. You don't see Walmart on Mercer Island, Seattle, after all.

I work for wal-mart and after hearing this i looked into it. Wal-mart gave her $470,000 for medical expenses. after that she won a $million from the lawsuit, with the trucking company that hit her, she only got $417,000 after legal fees. Since it has been determined that it was the trucking company's fault that resulted in the medical expenses wal-mart shouldn't have to pay for that company's mistakes. So it would be, not completely fair but, more fair that wal-mart get their money back.
@Igotnogod The trucking company should pay for the damages and not wal-mart. After receiving a backlash from the public, wal-mart decided it would be better to not get their money back, said they were sorry, and said changes will be made to its health plan policies.

Our laws are unnecessarily complicated because legislatures never have to worry about paying for all the laws they create. They just force the laws on us & force us to pay for them. The police love it because they can always find some law you weren't aware of to arrest your if they want to. The lawyers & judges love it because we have to pay them big bucks to make sense of it. Large corporations like it, because only they can afford all the lawyers it takes to protect themselves with fine print.

I'm not a huge fan of Walmart's business practices, but I would have gone without a lot of products most people took for granted (i.e. clothes, food, school supplies, ect.) as children if not for that store. It's easy to hate Walmart, but it can be incredibly tough to raise a child(s) while working a low paying job and trying to buy products from a high priced store.

I work at walmart... And they want us to do the "snow scare" with our dumb customers in order to generate more sales.. so if there is a chance of flurries we are supposed to claim "you never know! It could get really bad!" and scare them into buying loads of ice melt and the like that they probably will not need.... bunch of bollucks if you ask me.

I found out the hard way they didn't tighten the lug-nuts on my front wheel! Walmart said nothing they could do & file a claim with my insurance. Not even a "sorry". This company has to go!

My teahcer told me wal-mart keeps prices low by forcing employees to work extra with no pay, and because they get payed so little, they qualify for food stamps, and food stamps come from taxpayers, who buy from walmart...

This one time my teacher told me that if it weren't for Wal-mart some young children would go to sleep hungry because their parents could not afford groceries from Kroger. He also said that some people are actually so poor that they can't afford to buy their kids clothes from "respectable" independent clothing shops, and they have to make the despicable choice of buying them at wal-mart. Yeah so fuck wal-mart, their doing us all a huge disservice.

I work for wal-mart and after hearing this i looked into it. Wal-mart gave her $470,000 for medical expenses. after that she won a $million from the lawsuit, with the trucking company that hit her, she only got $417,000 after legal fees. Since it has been determined that it was the trucking company's fault that resulted in the medical expenses wal-mart shouldn't have to pay for that company's mistakes. So it would be, not completely fair but, more fair that wal-mart get their money back.

However, it is also important to be philed in with all the pertinent facts so that a story can be honestly reported on. i personally feel phil didn't explain the situation honestly. When wal-mart reversed their decision phil didn't care enough to make an annotation indicating this on his video.

This is the lest of what walmart does. They movie into a community and put all local businesses out. They pay there employees very little and threaten to fire them if they don't work overtime. (Keep in mind that they DONT pay overtime) They practically dump pesticides into the rivers that towns use to drink. And they cost tax payers millions if not billions of dollars. That's how they can afford such low prices.
