What makes the Skyline a legend is not how fast these cars are right out of the box.. but how much power you can get out of the motor before having to do internal replacements. Half of these Skylines are probably the GTST, which is RWD, and on a 9 degree weather night, there's no way in hell a RWD vehicle is going to properly hook on the track. Go on a solid 50 - 60 degree day and film again.. Make sure they're also the GTR Skyline (AWD) so your "debunk" can be debunked.
I owned and built a cordia back when I was a teenager & ran a best time of 13.5 with a stock engine, stock ecu and only a T3/T4. I now own a R32 and I know no cordia would beat it 1/4 mile or circuit. I grew up loving the cordia but times have changed.
a stage one tune gtr with a half decent driver will do a mid 12 sec 1/4 mile some gtr still with standard turbos have managed 11 sec 1/4 mile i cant see your piece of shit Cordia beating them

load of c*** GTR's are one of the fastest cars ever made the most recent GTR doing 7.23 around the Nurburgring beating the Veyron and the r33 was the first car EVER to do it in under 8 minutes plus the r32,r33,r34 gtr's can all be tuned to and around 1000 bhp. My Dad has a r33 gtr with around 500bhp put this cordia up against it we would see how fast a gtr really is !!! gtr's are the daddy and that's that.

Back in '96 I had an AC Cordia with the 2L twin cam install, it was good at the time but I knew there was no way i'd be putting it up against a GTR. Nissan make some fantastic motors that you should never assume you're quicker than all of them.

Before I had my GTST and GTR I had a Cordia....pretty good for an entry level turbo car but they're quite the dinosaur unless you put a 4G63 in them. Back then I thought that my Cordia was the shit but now it's just fun memories (and nightmares!) ...they had their day ;-)

As before in my comment, my point was that the GTR yes it will take on a cordia anytime! The computer is controlled on the GTR thus not making it superior but with a mild computer tune the GTR is a beast! With the proper mods on a GTR it can take on a Hayabusa anytime aswell! Definetly a crappy cordia cannot top that for that matter!
For those wondering what a cordia is its a mitsubishi make from back in the 80's much alike that of a toyota trueno at a glimpse! specs-4G62BT sirius 1.8 litre sohc 8 valve 4 cyl. balanced shaft turbocharged engine 147bhp 1/4m in 15.8sec and GTR has an RB26DETT inline-6 twin turbo charged dohc 4 valve/cyl. pushing 280bhp and a 1/4m in 13.7sec.
GTR doesn't do 13.7. My GTT R34 does 13.6 sec with just full exhaust and 10 psi boost. Not sure about R32 but im sure r33 and r34 both does 13.5 or below.
first of all, with a good driver Skyline GTR's are mid to high 13sec cars. I dont know if your are purposely posting bad drivers or what. Second, all Japanese cars were limited to 280hp because of the Gentlemens Agreement made among the Japanese manufacturers(if you never heard of it look it up). Skyline GTR's were made to support 600hp stock but was tuned down because of the agreement. All a skyline need is a boost controller & tune and you can run low 12sec, can your car handle 600hp stock?

A stock R33 GTS turbo like mine only has 251hp and 319Nm at the crank (according to Nissan 14-16 years ago), at 1360kg, that's not a whole lot.
Still good for 14's on street tires, but if you're looking for a 10 second Skyline, you're not going to cut it with a GTS25t and a big bore exhaust + open air filter.
By the way... Skylines are made for the circuit, not for the strip.

Those skylines are gts-t's, which means that they are not fully a skyline (ie: a 'GTR'). The gts family has some characteristics of the GTR, not all, which in turn means, ur cordia can kill a percentage of A skyline not AN ACTUAL skyline.(PERIOD)

I owned and built a cordia back when I was a teenager & ran a best time of 13.5 with a stock engine, stock ecu and only a T3/T4. I now own a R32 and I know no cordia would beat it 1/4 mile or circuit. I grew up loving the cordia but times have changed.

load of c*** GTR's are one of the fastest cars ever made the most recent GTR doing 7.23 around the Nurburgring beating the Veyron and the r33 was the first car EVER to do it in under 8 minutes plus the r32,r33,r34 gtr's can all be tuned to and around 1000 bhp. My Dad has a r33 gtr with around 500bhp put this cordia up against it we would see how fast a gtr really is !!! gtr's are the daddy and that's that.

Back in '96 I had an AC Cordia with the 2L twin cam install, it was good at the time but I knew there was no way i'd be putting it up against a GTR. Nissan make some fantastic motors that you should never assume you're quicker than all of them.

Before I had my GTST and GTR I had a Cordia....pretty good for an entry level turbo car but they're quite the dinosaur unless you put a 4G63 in them. Back then I thought that my Cordia was the shit but now it's just fun memories (and nightmares!) ...they had their day ;-)

As before in my comment, my point was that the GTR yes it will take on a cordia anytime! The computer is controlled on the GTR thus not making it superior but with a mild computer tune the GTR is a beast! With the proper mods on a GTR it can take on a Hayabusa anytime aswell! Definetly a crappy cordia cannot top that for that matter!

For those wondering what a cordia is its a mitsubishi make from back in the 80's much alike that of a toyota trueno at a glimpse! specs-4G62BT sirius 1.8 litre sohc 8 valve 4 cyl. balanced shaft turbocharged engine 147bhp 1/4m in 15.8sec and GTR has an RB26DETT inline-6 twin turbo charged dohc 4 valve/cyl. pushing 280bhp and a 1/4m in 13.7sec.

GTR doesn't do 13.7. My GTT R34 does 13.6 sec with just full exhaust and 10 psi boost. Not sure about R32 but im sure r33 and r34 both does 13.5 or below.

first of all, with a good driver Skyline GTR's are mid to high 13sec cars. I dont know if your are purposely posting bad drivers or what. Second, all Japanese cars were limited to 280hp because of the Gentlemens Agreement made among the Japanese manufacturers(if you never heard of it look it up). Skyline GTR's were made to support 600hp stock but was tuned down because of the agreement. All a skyline need is a boost controller & tune and you can run low 12sec, can your car handle 600hp stock?

A stock R33 GTS turbo like mine only has 251hp and 319Nm at the crank (according to Nissan 14-16 years ago), at 1360kg, that's not a whole lot.
Still good for 14's on street tires, but if you're looking for a 10 second Skyline, you're not going to cut it with a GTS25t and a big bore exhaust + open air filter.
By the way... Skylines are made for the circuit, not for the strip.
That's were they'll shine.

it may have gotten the start because power is transferred automatically instead of transferring to the rear , but i have a 1993 r33 gts-t , rb25det motor , in other words its a 2.5 l single turbo , and it does 0-60 in the 5's almost stock iam pretty sure any skyline could beat yours.

Those skylines are gts-t's, which means that they are not fully a skyline (ie: a 'GTR'). The gts family has some characteristics of the GTR, not all, which in turn means, ur cordia can kill a percentage of A skyline not AN ACTUAL skyline.(PERIOD)
