If you are a casual gamer and you enjoy using the weapons that you have and aren't really into having to earn them again, then you should stay at level 50. If you are more like me and you enjoy competitive play then i would recommend prestiging. Other than that it is really just about personal prefrence and what you think would make the game more enjoyable.
