Anyone that doesn't wanna waste sprays on the gatling goint then just have one of the leaders lie down in front of that tower and find a spot where the projectiles hits the the tower instead of the leader. Now it's distracted and makes it easy to kill.

Indeed, the cave levels are randomly generated. The only constants are the numbers and types of enemies and hazards, the shapes and quantities of rooms and corridors, and the treasures.

Well, it's not actually a glitch, it's programmed to do exactly that. However, taking advantage of it as the quickest way to kill the Bulblax was genius

I renember at 3:06 my first time seeing that guy fall from the celing. Good thing I had purple sprays because I was not prepared for that. Of course I didn't leave my pikmin by them selves to kill it.

I think he means why did you just run through without getting any treasure. Look closely, he kills the... flying thing, which drops a treasure as he runs to the hole. So he actually just does the sublevel very, very fast.

I'd say almost a two hour improvement counts as a decimation. That's just my opinion, though.

ah, nevermind. officially, decimate means to reduce by one tenth, but it seems that its incorrect use has become so common that it was added as one of the possible means. sorry for the confusion.

... I always did wonder what the origin of that word was. I thought it was synonymous with "destroy" or "obliterate."

most people do. i personally learned it by chance on a tv show, though when you think about it, "deci" is a prefix for one tenth, and the "ate" suffix generally implies that the word is a verb whose meaning revolves around the root. though personally i would expect this to mean the denotation would be "to cause to be of one-tenth status." perhaps "mate" is a separate suffix? well, i've never taken formal classes on word deconstruction and analysis, so i'm not honestly sure...

I can tell you're taking advantage of all the ultra bitter sprays in this cave. And nice gain on sub level 4, over 1 and a half minutes. Well one more part until the end of the project, hope to see the grand total.
