  • Cest Drole, cet video :)

  • the skunk character is quite racist it's intended to say french people stink or are dirty

  • I think those stereotypes are positive for French people. Although Americans often say they are gay, I think they are elegant, intellectual, and chic. I'm sure their language is the most romantic in the world.

  • I spat out my café au lait when Steve Martin started talking !!! Sacreubleu zhat's feunee.

  • @JustaSmuck You stole that from Austin Powers!

  • I'm french, and I can say that this video is so funny ^^

At 1.11 , that so real. A lot f french speack like this guy in english ^^

  • If there are two things I hate, it's people who make disparaging remarks of other nationalities; and the French!

  • @JustaSmuck

    hahaha ;)

  • @JustaSmuck The french? :O what did they do to you?

  • @Untefelehrr My comment waz a yoke, with myself as the butt of the joke. Actually I like the French, my father was born in Paris, but I lke them anyway. This too was a joke.

  • belmondo ain't no cliche...he's the real deal!

  • wouldn't they have more of a violent and warmongering stereotype considering how violent and gory their revolution was and Napoleon right after. that was probably it back in the 1800s when it all happened. just a thought....... boy am i going to get some mean comments

  • @Ninjadude2012 Well if you think like that, every population today should be considered "violent and gory" because wars occured in their past history. The holocaust, the American civil war and the killing of native Indian populations. European countries invading African countries at the same time, There are wars in the history of each country. Powerful countries have always wanted to take advantage over other countries. Violence isn't French, American,German or English, it's just human.

  • @shougouhanga your right, thats humans stereotype. if there were aliens here on earth then thats what they'ed call us. that was kinda a stupid comment now that i think of it

  • U r irritated by them makin fun of french ppl, u should try being african

  • 中国人吃小狗?! haha jk jk good video. enjoyed. lotta steretypical characters i had forgotten about!

  • Funny thing is that the 'croissant' originally comes from Austria... it's a remembrance sign of the battle against the osmanic empire... turks were beaten during the siege of Vienna. And the half-moon is why the 'croissant' looks like that.

Funny thing is that France didn't participate in that fight at all.

  • @Vickzq

You're right, but this is Marie Antoinette who brought back them to Louis XIV, and then they became famous as we know

  • haha génial vraiment !!

  • would you list all da stereotypes based on that video... i only got one from the skunk cartoon tells us the stereotype of french people are stinks...

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire American are necessarily obese ? homeless in the USA all push caddies full of junk on the streets and light big fire into big metal barrels in some dark alleys to warm up in winter time ?People in Detroit all live in caravans ? German women let their hair grow on their legs ? Portuguese women have moustache ?English people are all alcoholic and can't cook ? blah blah...urban legends , all around the world...

  • @gwogatobis huh? really? im from asia and my country's tv channel full with american-based programme so i really doesnt know bout all those stereotype... i only familiar with stereotype of american people and american's view on other people... german women grow their legs hair? moustached portuguese women? drunked smoked english? seriously i dont know that... america really did a good job spreading their teachings around the globe...

  • cliché parisien plutot l'ami

  • You have to see Pepe the Pew and The Pink Panther in English, dubbed in French it's not funny.

  • xD j'adore ^^

  • J'ai voir Pepé le Pew!

Well! How about that? XD I'm learning French, so I'm practicing here and there. Please correct me if you can. :)

XD tu sais?

J'adore Pepe le Pew. Il est très (how do you say funny??). Il y a beaucoup (people???) francais ici!! Bon.

    Oui... Je vais.. Au revoir!

    Well how about that?? :D

  • 0:58 : Just this time this is not a stereotype, I'm French and I have the same reaction with American coffee. :p

  • Well, do the world understand that we are the best or you need more explications ?

( explications, fantastic word, isn't it ?

  • Not a single baguette or glass of wine in this video, are you serious??

  • Funny video and great editing !

What is also funny is how half of the videos on Youtube are plagued with racist comments. Youtube : racism at it's finest !

  • hello ricky buby

  • No croissant ? lol

  • There is quite an undeliberate one in "The Third Man":

French Soldier: "Your lipstick, madame". Hands lipstick to her.

First question: Why was it the french soldier, who reminded the woman of her lipstick?

Second question: Where did he get that lipstick from anyway?

Third question: Did you notice that French soldier had a small poofter moustache.

Fourth question: Are you aware what it all winds up to?

  • Chaclee blu!

  • I didn't see the best french stereotype in this video and perhaps the funniest. The evil french guy with the pointy moustache

  • un petit cafe

  • I like French people!

French people are intelligent, artistic, sophisticated, well-mannered, & great conversationalists.

    And they dress well.

I'm in the US & I'm fed up seeing men with saggy pants hanging BELOW their butts!

  • @Hotora86

    Hey, fucking asshole!

Did you meet & get to know very well at least 100 French to say that?

My best friend is a French.

My 2 sisters, a brother-in-law, & a niece lived in Paris for over 10 yrs.

Judging by your channel info, YOU MIGHT BE A JAPANESE.

How would you feel if someone GENERALIZE JUST LIKE YOU DID???

Most of people w/ genetic disorders by incest are Japanese (example: 80% of all inbreds w/ Werner Syndrome are Japanese), so Japanese are the most pervert people on earth.

  • @KimInLosAngeles You are correct! Japanese ARE the most perverted people on Earth. And I met over 100 French of course (I lived there) and most of them were complete assholes. TWO people I met were nice. One guy named Samuel (though he's half American) and a girl named Lea. Lea had to stop seeing me however because her boyfriend ordered her (he was jealous). Asshole? Yes.

  • @Hotora86 It's quite surprising that you met "98% of assholes", but I would be curious to know in which town you lived. A lot of people judge french through parisians which is a misstake and probably often give us a terrible image. When I went to USA (I came from Canada) it was tempting to judge americans through the custom officers (who where the most arrogant and probably racist assholes I ever met) because the worst memories are the one you keep the longest.

  • @Hotora86 ur so full of shit lol if france are such assholes then get da fuck out of france..

  • @aotearoa20 You think I'd stay any longer than I had to? I ditched France a long time ago.

  • ahahahahah. "you call this coffee?!"

  • les poissons les poissons how i love les poissons ♫ lol

  • si vs némer ps ma ville.........aller vs faire foutre.......mdr..........parfaitement XDDDDDDD.........tt façons chuiit chauvin ont me refrat ps XDDDDD...

  • It don't hurt, 'cause you're DEAD! XD

Ah, one of my favorite kinds of stereotypes. lmfao

  • Now I'm reading 'a year in the merde' by S.Clark where he talks about 'my tailor is rich', which his French colleagues believed to be an English expression. Now I see why they think so, after watching the episode 1:07

  • Sympa, j'aime bien, I like it !

  • You can spot a frenchman 200 m away easily! They all stand out!

  • thanks , very entertaining

  • Every race, ethnicity and religion has a stereotype! Im african american and you dont know how many times in an american movie you see blacks as ghetto and eating fried chicken. Most time these stereotypes in movies are just made to make fun of and thats it! :)

  • @prpletay724 I totally agree , as long as people don't take it seriously...Not all chinese eat dogs afterall ! But it's sad when people take all these random clichés seriously sometimes....

  • @prpletay724 I should add, with a giggle that I didnt know the thing about fried chicken ! Thats crazy !(I m not American)

  • @prpletay724 I'm a black person and many of us DO live in ghettoes and LOVE fried chicken but the % varies from place to place

  • @prpletay724 There is no "races" in human king. Homo sapiens sapiens is the only, it is scientifically proved since many years. What you said is obviously true, but the frontiers between "stereotypes" and "racism" is very slim...

  • picks up the donut

    "no croissant?"

    just funny

  • i think this is such bullshit, i am a frenchman living in england for 6 years and i do not act like that

  • @mrey10 I don't act this way neither ans I'm also living in England for 1year!!

  • My nephew is French. However, this is one French person who would not

    surrender. He is uber hyper.

  • Why are french so concerned what stereotypes americans have about them???

  • Because they don't like these stereotypes.

  • But they make fools of themselves when being too concerned :)

It is what questions you put as priorities - nation fighting against stereotypes or nation who doeasn't give a fuck what some pseudocultural country says.

  • What's wrong, We care about american think about us. At least it's prove we respect and like americans. If we hate and don't respect you, we didn't care about it.

  • no. you are concerned about dumb unintelligent stereotypical kind of ameicans. not the normal americans.

  • I'm not but sometimes they make us look stupid... Most Americans will probably believe that we are like hat because most of them have never seen a Frenchman...

  • 0:07 The guy from the Little Mermaid is French in the original version ?

In the French version, he's italian.

  • Pepe Le Pew is Italian in French version too :D

    odd, no?

  • It's often like that, in Groundhog Day (Un jour sans fin) when he speaks French in the original version he speaks Italian in the French version. I think it's because the stereotypes American people have on French are close than the one we have on Italians.

  • all the french characters in original version are italian in the french one ...

  • yep lol lol

  • Yeah, I don't know why... Maybe we are ashamed ?

  • lol at 0:34 that animal is italian infrench version (le putois est italien dans la version française...)

  • tres marrant

  • french are awesome

  • Bien la vidéo Vive La France
