  • Sorry for my obvious forgetfulness, but what was the question that Amanda and Darcy didn't have an argument about?

  • I hope I would behave better than she did in that society... but with the same ending ;) ... I long for my own Mr. Darcy...

  • YES!!!!!! Everything worked out! Now it's my turn!

  • great movie. thanks so much for the upload. i loved it. thanks again.

  • can you please explain what 'Tally-ho wife ' means?English is not my first language

  • @nikokakoja79

Sorry,I can´t help you because I did not know .My english is not good too.

  • @nikokakoja79 "Tally-ho" is a term that was used in horse riding in groups meaning "onward with confidence!" He was basically cheering her on and congratulating her, hence the decision to sleep in their room that night. To put it plainly, she turned him on. :)

  • @Elemiriel thank u very much

  • If after all that Elizabeth wond up with Mr. Darcy and not Amanda, I would have been pissed because of all the build up of the relationship behind it. But now I'm very happy! Everything worked out perfectly!

Any fangirl who didn't die in episode 3 now will have died when Darcy and Amanda finally got to be together XD

  • so where is Elisabeth, come and open the "magic" door, I want to meet Mr. Darcy :D

  • Words cannot describe how much I want to be Amanda!!

  • I really wish that Amanda and Darcy would have moved to modern London together.

And then there could have been a show about them adapting.

    Hmph.

  • @aaaaddddaaa

    That would be very interesting!

  • Lost in austen-The End- Episode 4 part 11 by Chicawapa go to this vid and its the end of the show

  • God Im crying XD

is the ending we all wished we had if we were lost in Austen :D

    I loved it!!!

  • "wickham is a reptile..." "please?..." lmao! i absolutely love this version

  • *sniff sniff* that was so *sob* beautiful!

  • I am very happy with my one true love, but seeing scenes like the last one, can sometimes make me regret that I will never fall in love again, or have a first kiss.

  • "We shall have 25 children and name them all Amanda... even the boys."

LOL I couldn't stop laughing at that part!!

  • Nice kiss, but um, how did it actually end? Can anyone say? Did they marry or did she go back to her modern world?

  • @1VioletCrumble1

I saw this series a long ago, but I think that Amanda stayed with Darcy in the past and Elizabeth Bennet went back to the future. She was a woman far ahead for her time .

  • @tassuett Ok. Ohh yeah that's right because Elizabeth wanted to go back to Hammersmith. I'm happy with that ending :)

  • @1VioletCrumble1

    Me too.

  • thank g-d she ended with mr darcy i would have been so cut if lizzie did..

  • All's well that ends well

  • WOO MRS BENNETT!!!

  • one of my favorite films is pride & prejudice(2005) and this film is now part of that list, I loved it, every single second of it and the twists, so funny, I used to hate Wickham and now I love him, although I think he should have ended up with Lizzie in this time :p, everything else was just perfect, a highly recommended film with a story that I think all of us who love Darcy have been dreaming of and are thrilled to see, the cast was great, this Darcy was as perfect as Matthew Macfayden´s

  • @xrobstenxnianx

I agree with everything you said.

  • @tassuett :D thanx for uploading it!!

  • In a way I'm not that upset about the ending after seeing Amanda with Darcy the whole time I think it right for her to be with him forever, and let's face it Elizabeth always seemed like she could adjust to our world easily

  • I lov the story,the intrigue,but i hate the ending.

  • I hate it!!!Darcy can be only and only with Elizabeth!!!!!They ruined Jane Austen's love story!!!!!!!!!

  • @SiaAndEdward But if you think about it, Amanda lived Elizabeths life, and lizzie herself couldnt open the door, only amanda could, amanda turned into elizabeth! therefore not ruining Jane Austens story..

  • What?!

    It's finished?!

    God damn it.

Now it's my turn to keep reading P&P and listen out for a sound in the shower.

Oh wait, I already do that and nothing is happening! :'(

  • I wanted it to carry on :(

  • I loved this!

  • Lost in Bronte would be really cool I reckon, Jane Eyre would be fun =)

  • @jasonfoth14

    This would be quite interesting!

  • @jasonfoth14 I said the same thing!!! :DDD

  • @jasonfoth14 During the whole Lost in Austen I thought Lost in Bronte would be even better :D Jaaane Eyre!

  • i almost wanted to see her with wickham myself but i guess darcy was better what an interesting twist to such a remarkable story i absolutely loved it. and really who didnt fall in love with Wickham? i kno i did lolz

  • This story is a dream...... And I wish it could come true....

@tassuett Thank you very much for uploading it. :)

  • oooh, it looks cold there!

  • I loved this so much! What brave (and great) writer (s) this series had! To change so much of the original story was really risky; and yet managed to make lovely surprises (like Wickham! who didn't love him?). The end was really good too... The only problem is that now I'll also dream about a life situtation like Amanda's, not just the normal day dreaming of a P&P life. Oh, fuck. Hahahah

  • what a great series...i'm kind of disappointed its over :( and wow, that was the kiss to end all kisses!!! *swoons*

  • I've fallen in love with Darcy's waistcoat...let alone what's holding the waistcoat.

I would personally love to see a 'Lost in Bronte' - Wuthering Heights, so many alternative outcomes could be brought out from it. If only I was a producer!

Thank you tassuett for uploading this, you're great!

  • @stupidintellect90

This is a quite original idea, but does Heathcliff would fall in love with a woman from another time?

  • @tassuett I see, there's a pretty big flaw there. Unless the woman(let's call her Amanda) who comes from present day is just like Cathy but less selfish. With Cathy in London, Amanda and Heathcliff slowly get to know each other, Heathcliff realises its her who he wants. And BAM...she agrees to marry him and not someone called Edgar *ahem*. I think this idea needs to be thought out a little more, because Heathcliff and Cathy's attachement is too strong to let this happen.

  • Forever alone and dying with 6 cats and in spite of that this makes me so so unbelievably happy <3

  • real fascinating history totally into the fantasy of somebody that fell in love with somebody from another time and make her dreams come true :)

  • I love this show as much as i love real book :))

Thank u for uploading this :D

  • Is it possible that the little grey coat Amanda wears in this episode is the same as the one worn by Jennifer Ehle in the 1996 version of P&P? You know, the one she wears at the beginning of episode 4, when she is reading Darcy's letter after the proposal...or maybe I'm just such a great fan of that version that I'm actually hallucinating...

  • @the811205

You´re a very observant person, but you're right. I ´ve just check out P&P 96 and in fact, they are very similar, although I think that the coat worn by Jennifer Ehle is a little darker.

  • @tassuett Nice of you to take the trouble to check...you're really observant yourself, and I think you're right. The coat worn by Jennifer Ehle is a little darker and tighter than the one worn by Amanda. Thanks for this nice video and for the answer too. Hope to see more of your work posted here. Cheers!

  • @the811205 A great number of the clothes worn in this movie are in fact from that version. The IMDB page for this series has the full this, but there is overall quite a large number.

  • hey guys, could someone please tell me what the little piece of paper said, cause i didn't understand? (english is not my language:P). plus, what mr.Darscy and Amanda say from 12:00 to 12:18? thank u soooo much:)

  • @vicroryGR the paper said "Not one heart beat do I forget" and heres the dialogue for the 18 seconds Darcy - "Mrs.Price"

Amanda- "Yes, We should celebrate you asked me a question I awnsered it &we didn't have an argument about it"

Darcy-"I did not ask you a question, I made an observation 'Mrs.Price' confirming your identity, as a result we are now arguing about it and therefore you are wrong"

Amanda-"That's so sweet your actually trying to make me laugh"

Darcy-"Yes, It shall not occur again"

  • @6teencandlez you are so very kind!!!! thak u, thank u, thank uuuuu:):):)

ps: i guess that those words on the paper mean that Mr Darsy told Amanda that he is not going to forget her, right?

    thanks again for your answer:)

  • @vicroryGR hehe no problem! i love the series, i think it means that and also that he remembers going to the future world and confessing his love to her. But thats just my opinion:)

  • @6teencandlez u really gave me a new prospective here!!! yes, i think u must be right, that he remembers the ''journey'' to the future, that's why he uses the bus ticket (hm..i think it must be the bus ticket, i've been in London twice but i can't remember what the tickets look like:P). ooh, this is soooo romantic!!! i love the series so much, too!!! oh, and sorry for my english hehehe:)

  • DARCY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO TALL, AWKWARD KISS

  • @lavendertwilight08 I actually think it's a wonderful kiss (;

  • what does darcy say at 12:26? i don`t understand him!!!!!!!!

  • @Lusnack It shall not occur again.

  • i don`t get it, where has Darcy that piece of paper from?

  • @Lusnack he picked up the receipt when he was in london i guess

  • @Lusnack

    It´s a good question.

  • @tassuett @Lusnack that piece of paper was the ticket from the bus ride back in Hammersmith.

  • @Lusnack It`s his bus ticket from when he went through to the other London .. I think.

  • @Lusnack I believe that, by the impression on the paper (something that looks like it's from sec XXI), he got and wrote that while they were at Amanda's place.

  • NO!!!!! It should've been Lizzy! agfhhvsdjhakahdjfshgakjdls.

  • Less fan, more brain.

  • And then.... Amanda wakes up ;P

  • That was the best thing I've ever seen

  • I think another spin off this ending could be Wickem going back with Amanda to the modern world together...? Maybe.

  • @ThiiNatawii

That´s an interesting idea! But Amanda always was in love with Mr Darcy.

  • I seriously thought they were going to show her waking up at the end, rendering it all a dream.

  • @kikyo4815

I also thought like this. The end of the movie really have surprised me. I thought Mr Darcy would stay with Liza and Amanda would return home and for her time.

  • absolutly love the show. just one question... since she went back to darcy and therefore society... did that screw jane over again?

  • @roxie883 Probably not. The Lady Catherine wanted nothing more to do with the Bennetts, so would probably still have the marriage annulled just for that reason. Plus, Bingley had finally made up his mind to take Jane to America and start a new life with her there.

  • "talley ho wife!" lol! best line ever.

  • To be honest, I thought she should have gotten with Wickham, He was fucking awesome in this.

  • @courtarrhh I know! I was thinking 'I bet they're going to put a massive spin on it and make her go with Wickham'

  • "Tally-ho, Wife"

  • @MUSEmaniakOO

That part made me laugh so hard.

  • I really enjoyed this. I also really enjoyed the original Pride and Prejudice but I think this was done really well and the unfinished ending really left it to imagination.

I thought Amanda and Mr.Darcy's height difference was quite funny, though not intended.

I also loved Alex Kingston and Hugh Bonnetville in this. I think 'Tally hoe wife!' has got to be my favourite line in the whole thing.

  • Wait wait wait. I'm so very confused. Did Lizzy go back to modern London and get with Michael? And Amanda marries Darcy? Did Lizzy and Michael fall in love while Amanda was gone?

  • @xhalfbloodprincess6 That's what I would like to know too because Amanda went back to Darcy in the end. It just confuses me though I love the ending sooo much

  • this is a way to make you feel like can have or experience jane austins book. it makes you a charector, basically. i thought it wildly creative. although i still don't enjoy any of the actresses playing Elizabeth... i did enjoy watcing this weird shuffled up version of Pride and Prejudice...

  • wait a minute... did guys kiss like that 200 years ago? UHHHHHH.......

  • Thanks for the upload. The end is so nice...... Who wouldn't want to go back to fictitious georgian England?!!!!

  • @Aquaseventytree me cause i'm black lmao

  • OMG! why do all the Darcy's irresistibly hawt and SEXY???? aaaaaahhhhhh...... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 i loved this! i wanna be amenda!! :D <3

  • OMG! why do all the Darcy's irresistibly hawt and SEXY???? aaaaaahhhhhh...... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 i loved this! i wanna be amenda!! :D

  • Thank you for the upload, enjoyed it immensely :)

  • Thanks so much for uploading this! I've been meaning to watch it for a couple years now. And BBC America never showed it, grr! Thank you Internet, haha! Nice little take on the original novel.

  • @FairyKingdom86 PBC Masterpiece Classic showed it.

  • What a creative spin on a classic~

  • @LLawlietXD

    I also agree with you.

  • i seriously have to cry, soooooo sad....

  • That was.. Quite the experience.. (:

  • Holy crap I LOVED this...like seriously I have been laying on my couch 4 the past 4 hours watching this..this seriously had me rethink the original and it's BRILLIANT XD tho if she did remain with Darcy, then what happens with Lizzy and the ehole plot of the book?(it wud b interesting if the book changed xD)..i seriously had a giddy giggle fit over this miniseries..LOL Mr.bennet was awesome xD

  • @mangaluva16 That was the complete SAME for me! I have to do the giggle, i had to think about the book, and EVERYTHING! haha

  • When I first heard about this from a friend, I thought it was one of those stories where a character is put into another character's shoes, and forced to live out their life. I was both amused and disappointed to find it quite the opposite. This was... an intriguing take on Austen's original tale, but I confess, not one of my favorites. I suppose you might call me an Austen Purist. I prefer the original. However, I won't lie and say I didn't enjoy it. I commend the writers for their creativity.

  • @crazyabouthpotter I also prefer the original movie, although I think this version quite creative.

  • @crazyabouthpotter Yeah, I have to admit, it's quite creative, but I'm afraid I'll always be thinking of the twisted version every time I read/watch the original.

  • tally hoe wife! --- best bit :D :D :D

  • "Tally hoe, wife!"

    Hahahahahaha, I love Mr. Bennet.

  • Thank you for uploading this mini series. What a lovely way to spend a rainy morning. I was really wrong about Mr. Wickham, though.

  • Oh my gosh. I watched the entire movie in one sitting!! Thank you for putting this up!! I am SO going to buy this movie!!

  • This was a very entertaining show. Thanks for uploading!

My only criticism is that Darcy was too...immature? I don't know, I found him a bit too passionate and soft, as opposed to completely stone-like.

  • Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!

  • @MiaOnTheRoxxs

    You´re welcome! Glad you liked.

  • @tassuett

Can you upload the 1995 version of pride & prejudice? To get it all straight again...xp

    thanks!

  • @MiaOnTheRoxxs

Two years ago I had download it, but after watch it, simply through away. How I was so stupid! But

I am going to think about it again.

  • @tassuett

Oh please do! It would be so kind of you. It's just that I can't find the complete version anywhere, there is always a part missing.:(

  • tally ho, wife!

  • LIFE IS SO UNFAIR, I ALSO WANT A MR DARCY TO KISS ME LIKE THAT!!

  • god she is so lucky, wish that was me! I'm obsessed with Mr.Darcy. I'm so happy it ended that way!!

  • oh, how i wish i too had a door which leads to there :'(

  • @MegaMagicStars

I think that we all would like that, too.

  • this was the perfect ending! i adored it, this movie was awesome! thank u so much for posting it! <3

  • @RachelMicheleMoretti I also liked the end .It was a surprising.

  • thanks so much!!!

  • @camaro5229

you´re welcome. It was a pleasure post it and I´m glad that you ´ve liked it.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I love this series, and i wanted to watch it again so badly, and i have the DVD but i left it at my parents house. So I'm so happy to have found it here to watch it! Thanks again!!!

  • what a beautiful movie ... thanks you for posting this .x

  • @fairybiscuits

    You´re welcome.

  • ....What happens to poor Charlotte I wonder. I know I would've stayed, would've got some toothbrushes and other things though, I suppose our money would be useless in their time....

  • Gosh how i loved this series the first time i watched it and now i think i shall go and buy the DVD box set, bloody hell i am even speaking in terms as they speak Oh Gosh ;) <3

  • So the end is... Lizzie went back to Hammersmith 200 years later and Amanda stayed at Mr Darcy? Wow...

  • I own the DVD, and have watched it many times. It never gets old. Great story. Thanks.

  • they messed up all the characters personalities. Completely out of character. Pissed me off so I had to separate the real Mr. Darcy from the one they made and thankfully his character has not been besmirched. Great movie though. I always think about what I would do if I were in a novel. Loved the water scene. She was on it. I would have done the same thing. Though I wish she had slapped Ms. Bingley.

  • The end of Lost in Austen always makes me ridiculously happy every time I watch it. I'm always so glad when Amanda and Darcy finally get together. It makes me smile. :)

  • Tally ho, wife!

  • but if Amanda remains with Mr. Darcy, she will break her promise to Lady Catherine. In cause of that Jane and Mr. Bingley are not able to get married.

  • @lettersgirl

Not necessarily, she promised to drop out of society and she probably will, she never promised not to be with Mr.Darcy. They can both drop out of society, sort of. Besides as soon as catherine de buorg (or however it's spelt) signs the papers she can hardly unsign them and then Jane and Bingley will be in America. :D

  • I loved this series!! Was my 5th time watching it and I still LOVED IT!! Thanks for uploading it.

  • I love this series sooo much.......

  • Thank you! Happy for the upload. :)

  • So do I.

  • Love this movie! Thank you so much for posting it! Elliot is a very very VERY good Darcy :)

  • i'm smiling almost as much as at the end of the original story.. but only almost..

  • It was a surprised to me too, in fact it was nothing than normally were expecting .

  • the ending was incredible!!

  • You´re Welcome.I´m glad that you had liked.. I did´nt think this show was known for so many people.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I have the video of this, but I can't remember how to work it, and which channel to use etc., so I am very much obliged to you. By the way, 533 people missed the LIKE button:)

  • Not that I think the Colin Firth ugly, in fact, I think he's an excellent actor, but the actor who played Darcy in Lost in Austen is very cute.

  • @tassuett 2005 p&p had the best looking best acting darcy

  • @tassuett the best looking Darcy ever is in pride and prejudice with keira knightley, he is beautiful lool

  • @monnie181

    Agree with you!

  • @monnie181 i agreee xD!!!

  • @monnie181 TOO TRUE i want too marry him.... the meadow scene takes my breath away! but this one is very cute too!

  • @tassuett It's Elliot Cowan, and yes, he's absolutely gorgeous!

  • Thanks again for putting this up! i actually really enjoyed it, once i got over the fact that darcy wasn't colin firth! and it would be totally different to the book which i realised early on!

  • Wow, certainly not what I expected out of this show. I'm actually really okay with the way it turned out. Thanks for posting it!
