man.. I'm so mad that I didn't discovered Stratovarius until now! I mean, I knew that the band existed but I could never imagine that the songs are so awesome. This songs are about everything what is in my soul, heart and life and I waited for it nearly 23 years.. Now I feel that I'm breathing! =D

@IggyandtheStardust Depends on you're definition of heavy. Power metal has heavily distorted guitars and fast drum beats. That there is enough of a prerequisite to warrant power metal as heavy... but the real question is: does metal have to be heavy? That's why there are so many subgenres of this diverse genre.

I know Timo Tolkki is a great and very talented guitarist, but Jens is just amazing and strat would be lost without him in my opinion! And I think Strat are better off without Timo now after the bad album "Stratovarius".

See, this is why I like this band. I don't like 'death' metal, where it's some guy screaming uncomprehendingly where you can't even understand a word he says. In death metal, the guy isn't even singing, just screaming his lungs out. But i like Stratovarius. It's a happier metal and this is an uplifting song; its not depressing to hear like death metal

Well, I mean, have you seen any of their live videos? I haven't literally seen them live but in their live videos they can't really play it that well. They are able to play it if they actually sit down and try a bunch, but they sell their albums as if the guitarist is out of this world when he's not. Also, the music is nowhere near as inspiring.
