I love sniping in this game, but the bullets move so slow. I fire when the guy gets into my crosshair yet it still misses him. Seriously, I 've gotten more assists that kills thatnks to that. BTW do I unlock weapons by ranking up/buying them and how to I get the upgrades like auto injector and laser designator thing fro the Recon class? Use the sniper/assault rifle?

u cant get the laser designator or autoinjector for recon autoinjector is only for assult and designator for demolistion so there is no point trying to get them into recon i wont work different weapons and items belong to different classes and you unlock weps and items by ranking up

You should try leading your shots, thats how you kill them if they are far away.

Aim infront of them, where they are going to be. The game has bullet time in it which makes it more realistic. the M95 has mil-dots so you can accurately hit someone from a distance.

I'm a beast sniper too, but this game once you learn the bullet travel times your unstoppable. I love the M95 because it scopes in the farthest and is always a 1 hit kill. I rarely miss with my sniper and mostly get headshots i love it. You want a game to test your sniping skills play Socom Confrontation the scope shakes a little and you cant stop it and people dont stop moving.

1. A sniper is supposed to be far away, to avoid being spotted. But I agree he is very far away, but he seems to have no problems hitting the enemy. So its ok.

2. Yes he has, moving targets are hard to hit.

3. It is not overpowered, it takes several hits to kill if u dont hit the head. And the reload time is horrible. And if u miss when in cqc ur dead.

4. no, a sniper gives support to the team at a distance. But I agree if everyone were snipers they would loose.

well I'm usually recon class..and I have my own squad I play with..I clear out the snipers and any threats that may kill them or disrupt them while arming or disarming the crates. So having a sniper that covers you is really really helpful.

1. Sniping on Attack is very usefull if you're any good; neutralize vehicles and spawn camp as well as laser bombing the crates

2. Sniping on Defense is very usefull for base rape and gaurding crates (since they have to stand still to arm) and taking out tanks

This video was very well put together and the music isnt annoying like 90% of the other montages on here for bf:bc sniping

and seriously... when you set out to make a montage you do it for the pretty kills not for helping your team win

Even in urban situations you can laze a turret or nearby parked car an steer over to an armored target. Additionaly in urban situations any semi auto rifle is devastating as long as you have at least the width of a street to shoot across. the m95 is shit innercity, the scope is too powerfull and the m24 more ideal but bolt action will get you killed.

bolt action is just <3. love the reloading of bolt action rifles.its all ok with the skills of snipers and all.. but i just hate when they stand 100 miles from battle and he is the one you have to spawn on in a squad.. its a global problem everyone talks about. them snipers that do that is idiots. i have no respect for them.

Im one of those snipers you speak of.Snipers are meant to recon the enemy and take shots from 400-800 yards away.100 miles is crazy the maximum distance for a shot is 2 miles if your good.Since there is no ballistics in this game shooting from long range is relatively easy for stationary targets.I get running headshots from more than half way across the map and that is what a sniper is supposed to do.A sniper is no use to his team if he gets killed in the middle of battle.I lOVE THE M24!

i Agree with kitsune2222.

Moving targets are very hard to head shot and it sucks when you have to 2x body shot after a bolt cycle.

Also staying as far away and as hidden as possible (since theres not prone position in this game T_T) is always a fun challenge. Sometimes i'll be chilling in brush (sometimes idiots walk right past when they're on a crusade to find snipers and i knife them =D) on the river or shooting from a parked boat further upstream on Oasis.

Counter sniping is also vital.

I just went through like 10 sniper montages, and yours is the best. I do wanna see some more skill shots though, I wish I knew how to make a montage :( I love sniping in BF: BC because of the 2 seconds on the FAR FAR away shots that I love to make. Start trying extreme distance shots at people sprinting (not at you or away from you) and work on shooting people out of vehicles (boats are the easiest), most have glass that takes 1 shot to break.
