funny how cena got hated alot in 2006 but all ive seen in 2006 he had ALOT of great matches during that year and had one of the best fueds ever (edge vs cena) but in 2008 and 2009 and 2010 cena matches was pretty bad but last year (minus WM 27) and this year cena has got alot better and is improving alot.

@donsennep I don't know about that . I'm 19 and I have loved Cena ever since I can remember so for me, I was proud of the fact that he rose to be the Face of the WWE. I don't like that he has become repetitive but it's not his fault, he is just doing his job. WWE is a business and since a lot of kids started watching, they started marketing on the kids. If there is anyone to blame its the high ups in the business and not the wrestlers who are just doing as their told.

IDK why you are praising a monkey flip into a standing drop kick as a statement of "proving the haters wrong". Lita or Trish could do those moves as well and shit they were executed more efficiently then Cena's. I don't care one way or another for John Cena. Besides, the only heel turn that I can think of for Cena would be an absolute monster like Mark Henry, and that wouldn't happen for a while due to people making comparisons between the two, and because it's Cena, they give him the hate he's not wanting to generate.

The reason of this hate is because Cena's character doesn't develop. WWE keeps trying to shove him down our throats every week. Cena is learning the business as he rolls along, who doesn't learn a job as you roll along no matter what position you are in in a company? Cena has the charisma and talent. I respect what he does both in and out of the business. The issue is the blandness of his character. He just needs to be given an edge to be made more interesting. People just get angry because he is shoved down our throats in the main event scene however lately he has been taken out of the main event scene so why complain?

I think john cena is burned out, I mean like when was the last time he got "injured".. When he had his soldier gimmick he was the best, But since then he got really limited.. He dont do alot of moves he did before.

I think the simple fact is that John Cena is a talented individual who does what he is told, and what he is told to do is appeal to a younger crowd because those young fans will someday grow up and guess what they will do? Watch wrestling and expose their children to the product. Cena does suck in my opinion, and I do boo him for being boring and repetitive, but what I have learned is that WWE has someone for everyone Cena is kid friendly, but not all the superstars are cheesy and bland.

I respect the hell out of Cena for everything he's done for the business but i hate his gimmick and i hate the fact that he gets his ass kicked for 10-15 minutes and then comes back & wins matches with :30 seconds worth of fucking offense, thats bullshit & unrealistic. Thats why i boo him

@BigDaddy6065 I totally agree with your statement, and I believe jaydub would as well, but what jaydub is trying to do is point out the fact that the some of the people who are booing Cena or should I say most now don't even have legitimate reasons for doing so. They boo Cena now because it is the cool thing to do, and never give the man the credit that he deserves, I agree that Cena sucks, but I don't just hate the guy because everyone else does.

THANK YOU JAYDUB. What I don't understand is why people try to compare old wrestlers to new ones. Those were completely different time periods. Like people compare John Cena to say Yokozuna or someone and say they would destroy Cena. Come on. FIRST OF ALL they were in two different eras. Just because someone is big, or has good mic skills, DOESNT Make them a good wrestler.
