Ganon's Tower is probably the only dungeon you can do two or more different ways. I usually end up muddling through differently every time.

I'm having huge issues at 5:24. I'm mashing A as fast as I can after I place the bomb but it keeps picking it up too slowly, making the explosion happen before it reaches the switch. Is there another way, or am I doing it wrong? I can't get past it.

@AxisXIViral You're probably standing too far down. Notice that I'm lined up with the top blue block in the video. If you're below it, the bomb won't make it to the switch.

Alternately, you can use the Cane of Somaria, toss the block onto the conveyor belt, and then use the cane again to split the block and hit the switch.

@Desbreko I think this was actually a different issue, because I was standing in line exactly where you were, Link just wasn't picking up the bomb quickly enough, no matter how fast I was pressing the buttons. Anywho I gave the cane thing a shot and it worked great. Thanks.

@BronSoloSV You have to step on the right floor switch to blow open the wall. It doesn't matter if you kill the enemies.

@KavukShadows It's not random. You need to hit the crystal switch there while you're on the other side of the blue blocks, and the only way to do that is with a bomb or a Cane of Somaria block.

I had the same problem.

Make sure you got the key in the room with the flying tiles, a chest pops up after all of them are done doing their thing. :]

@DoomedDuckBabyMario Only if you know what you're doing. Lv8 can mess you up just as bad as Lv5-7 if you don't already know your way around, but once you know what to do, I think it is a little easier.

By the way,whaif u had to make an scale of difficulty of the dungeons how would it be? the mine,1)this one,2)turte rock,3)ice palace,4)misery mire)5)dark palace6)skull woods (very similat these 1s),7) thieves finally swapms palace,very easy both.

It would probably replace the red one with the blue one and you'd be stuck with blue for the rest of the game if you saved.

Almost finished the game. Just can't beat this level. Made a big mistake. Used a key on the wrong door. Used it on the useless door that links the two rooms, now I need to find another key.

5:25 - I need help. I just cannot hit that switch. No matter how fast I throw the bomb, it explodes before reaching the switch.

Make sure you're standing level with the top crystal block. If you're standing very far below it, the bomb won't make it to the switch.

If you still can't get it, use the Cane of Somaria to create a block, toss it onto the conveyor belt, then break the block by using the cane again.

after you beat the dungeon in the swamp go to links house (in the dark world,which is a bombshop) and buy the red bomb take it to the pyramid and place the bomb on the cracked wall.. go inside a fat fairy comes and throw your lvl 3 sword. :) and your arrows.

Buy a superbomb (for 100 rupees) at the bomb shop that's north of the Swamp Palace, and use it to blow up the cracked wall in the Pyramid. Inside is a fairy pond where you can upgrade both the sword and bow.

BTW, you can't get a superbomb if you don't beat both Kholdstare and Vitreous.

You can also use the Cane of Somaria to throw a block onto the conveyor belt and then push the item button again to split the block and hit the switch with its shots.

BTW, at 3:02 instead of bombing yourself, you can dash against the top skull pot from the right side (you have a several frames before you fall off) and you'll land safely on the other side without sustaining any damage.

No, there are enough keys to open all the locked doors. One of them (in the flying floor tile room at 4:47) is just a pain to get, so it's a lot easier to leave that door locked.

You can increase your bomb and arrow capacity by throwing rupees into the Pond of Happiness on the island in the middle of Lake Hylia. 50 and 70 are the maximums they can be increased to.

It's really strange, the part at 5:25, where you throw the bomb onto the conveyor belt, it does not work for me. My bomb goes too far, and does not get moved along the belt.

You're throwing the bomb from too close, then, and it's landing on the little strip of floor between the wall and conveyor belt. Notice how I hold out my sword and walk down while facing right, so that I'm all the way back against the blue crystal switch blocks when throwing the bomb.

I'm having the same problem, Iim using ZNES if that has anything to do with it... Anyways I backed up as far as possible against the blue blocks and the bomb still goes too far. any advice???

I haven't used ZSNES much but I wouldn't think it would matter. I do know this has always worked for me when playing my SNES and GBA cartridges, and in Snes9x, though.

You're not pushing forward when throwing the bomb, are you? Just hold out your sword, back up against the blue blocks, place a bomb, then push the A button twice to pick it up and throw it without moving. That's all there is to it.

One more warning (4:47). You can't use the doorway because unfortunately there's a Wall Master in the tile room, and it can grab you in doorways

In that case, you'll need to get the small key out of the flying floor tile room at 4:47. If you wait until all the floor tiles have broken, a chest will appear with another small key in it.

Once you have defeated the Armos Knights and you entered the door on the left, it closes right? If that's the case, you won't get the big key right?

If you don't go up from the Armos Knights room first, then yes, it will shut you out and you'll have to go down from the big chest room and across the invisible path again to get back.
