Well my point was that there are a large amount of people who don't know that TV can influence your thinking, and that large group were influenced during this election primarily with regard to media bias. Did you know that 90% of business CEOs in New Zealand wanted John Key for prime minister? It's not surprising what the result was.

question 1, it was under labour's reign that this was most prevelant. but personally I don't agree with selling your house only to rent it back of some fat-cat landlord. second question, all I know about the health system, is that my aunty has had to wait for three years to have her insides put back into her body (graphic sorry). and my uncle would have been dead by now if he hadn't had his heart attack in australia where he immediately had stents put in and is now in fine health.

I've just become really disillusioned with our political spectrum, I want NZ to build geothermal power plants (sustainable energy uses the heat from the core of the earth) and get rid of the hydro dams, I want the south Basin oil reserves to be tapped so NZ doesn't need oil from overseas. And I want a 1% MMP so most people will get represented in government to ensure that dissent, debate and diversity is encouraged in parliament.

Yes it's true labour did sell a lot of state assets through public private partnerships and contracting out to corporations. And National has done the same thing in the past.

So in at least 1 way the two major parties are the same. I've had nearly half my family get cancer, and the doctors kill them more often than not with chemotherapy so for their last few years are really ill and still die anyway. Our health sector is a joke and I do hope that ACT with NATS do something to stop this madness.
