Just soloed him today, 85 druid bear, tank specced but in dps gear. Was not hard, had almost full life at end.

This is still soloable, I just did it 5 minutes ago. It took me 3 attempts as I've never done him before so wasn't quite sure what to expect.

I did it as an ICC geared bear tank, with all 3 (or 4 or however many there are) clones up. Just throw some heals up before he splits, pop a CD, aoe them down and heal when it's just him again. Easy.

Just soloed it as a feraldruid, in DPS-gear.. in bearform, maul-glyph.

when the 2 clones spawns, i target one of them, berserk and mangle away, tab to the other and finish it off... takes just a few seconds.

at the same time im popping reznies regen and survival instincts.

then i chill for cooldowns.. rinse & repeat.

It appears you can't pull only 1 clone anymore. If you look when he splits you see all clones there and active before they teleport, this didn't happen before. They weren't active until after they had teleported.

I've been having a hard time with this during the Clone phase as they all aggro on me at once. can't figure out what the deal is, I'm positioned right and am always able to take down the first and second clones before I go down. I've only had them aggro one at a time once, and then got MC'ed soon after due to a stupid mistake on my part. Any tips or questions would be appreciated.

i swear they did something to this guys since the time you done it, i don't know what im doing wrong but 90% of the time when it comes to the split , all 3 clones aggro on me. i dont know of its my positioning but its fukn gay. Ive got shadowmeld to avoid repairs but seems to me he's no longer doable

In regards to what was said before with my comment (I spent 30 minutes testing this btw). As soon as I casted a single heal, a single lifebloom, as soon as I casted a spell he started casting chain earth shocks until I was dead, I was in melee range i was beating on him as he did it. I'm willing to record and upload footage of the issue

You are targeting yourself. Use auto self cast to heal, or click the heal while targeting him and then click yourself.

the problem with this guy is that its largely based on luck when it comes to soloing him. Madsenffs, you were just lucky you only fought the clones 1 at a time instead of all at once. i got him to final split and was about to kill the 1st clone when he blinked and aggroed the 2nd one making it a gg for me

Do you think this was my first try? It's 2 rolls where you have to roll a 1 or 2 on a 3 sided die. If you look at the movie you see i dont win all the rolls and i improvise.

Encounter seems to have bugged since the time this was filmed, attempted this on multiple occasions but from 70% onwards the adds do nothing but spam earth shock no matter where you are

No idea, some people have this problem but i've not seen what they do different. Possibly try to not do any aoe during the split, or position yourself more like i am.

Amazing Vid man. I get my balls MANGLED trying to solo him after the first split. Can't do damage OR heal fast enough. Maybe I should try now after the buffs to my frost tank spec.

Ive been trying this for a month or so on and off with the same clone split strategy. I just wasnt able to kill 1 clone before the real skeram's earthshocks raped me. I came back with 3 pieces of NR gear (210 with MotW) and I was able to get them down individually, but random teleports kept agroing clones prematurely.

I assume you did not use any NR gear? With the new armor change its probably viable to do this in dps gear, thus getting clones down faster.

I did not use any nr gear. I used a hit cloak, journeys end, mobius band, essence of gossamer and red sphere of dragon's blood (or something). Rest endgame tanking gear with agility gems.

Armor won't affect this fight one bit as the clutch part is the earth shock spam. Stats that matter are stamina, hit and expertise.

I tried this start yesterday. Managed to down him to 40%, at some point he just aggroed the other copies, and it was really hard to survive the earthshock spam messed with copies positioning. The sucky part is when you come back to try again, and the copies didn't despawned. =\ Awesome video, i'll try agian any time, want c'thun archieve D:

The fight is a fair bit of rng. If he wants to kill you he can. Get naked and pull the add that didn't despawn and it will go away.

I saw your post on EJ, and before giving it attempts I figured I'd come over here and check for a video. Glad you decided to post one, it's helped a lot. After a few attempts I've gotten to the 25% split, I'm sure I'll have it soon enough.

One question, though -- what's the mod you're using to show your autoattack timer? It'd be nice not to have to look down to see that maul is queued. I'd greatly appreciate a response. :)

I have a question...

I just tried this with 3 Friends, were doing fine until he Slip, we could kill the Clones easily, but even if all Clones were on top of me I still got Earth Shock spammed. Is that a bug, if not, what do I do to stop that? because it is killing us.

Any skeram that is not being attacked from melee range will earth shock you.

Any skeram that is attacked from melee range will NOT earth shock you. That's why i only kill 1 add at a time. If you are trying to tank all 3, 2 of them will earth shock you.

They are not put in combat when they split. They get put in combat when you attack or go near them, or sometimes when skeram teleports to them (but not always).

It's just ag_unitframes moved around and configured. You can make any unitframe mod look like that.

I've killed Sartura too, don't know if i got lucky since i got it first try. All other bosses are impossible except maybe Ouro, but you can't get to him since you can't kill twins.
