The Sufi is hanging on to Muhammad (SAW), like Abu Bakr (Rad).
- Translation of Hazrat Jalaluddin Rumi (Rah) quote.
There is NO Tasawwuf (Wrongly called Sufism in the West), without the love of the holiest Prophet, the most honourable and pure man ever, the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW)!
This is so lovely. Many of the photos here are the same I have. It's so strange how many things we have in common for 2 people living very different lives and so far apart. Blessings to you always and much Love from above. Forever in mind, Ambriel.
in my video entitled why I love turkey I showed video of Konya and Mevlana's resting place. I love his poetry and since I am Learning Turkish I have read his poetry it is breath-taking mashallah. Thanks for sharing brother it has a bigger impact in Turkish for me than it does in English :) Asalamaleikum!
@Zulkarnayn elhamdulillah I am realy learning Turkish for two reasons, #1 to read Islamic text (because sources in English are very scarce) #2 to talk to my sisters inlaw #3 to teach my son. But also because I feel speaking Turkish properly is the last thing that I need to be a 100% adopted Turk LOL if that even exists. When I watch the Turkish Olympiads on Samanloyu TV I feel so jelous LOL
@Zulkarnayn i understand and read I have a vast vocabulary, but I can't form sentences properly! inshallah when I go back I will I do watch loads of Turkish TV specially trt and samanloyu I also read the zaman news paper :)
lol cool, Zaman newspaper is the most known newspaper in Turkey. Lol, I want to ask you a question, do your husband have any relation with the Gülen Movement? (Fethullah Gülen), since you both read Zaman and watch Samanyolu TV hehe.
Gulen movement ???. I do read Fethullah Gülen's books because the talk about dialogue and peace and so on, very well written mashallah. I like the Zaman news paper because it is easy for foreigners like me, it has "easy words" + it has some stories printed in English, so I do not feel left out. I like Samanloyu tv because of the programming, we have something called ebrutv here that has everything in english so I can look at the same show in both languages. + religious programs there are cool.
I see Masha'Allah. Well Fethullah Gülen has a Turkish-Islamic movement, they open schools and "houses" all around the world. In these "Houses" they have students who lives there (mostly highschool or university students) and these students follows a program, like praying together, reading books/Quran, making homework etc.
I know ebrutv, but I didn't know they had the english version of it, that's pretty cool.
:) Ebru tv is really cool the fact that it is in English is even better it allows you to compare English and Turkish. I really like the cooking show. My sisters in law take me to the kitchen when I am in Turkey. I learn many dishes from them but would like to learn more inshallah!
Ya habibi thank you

Lol thanks to you husband you have become a Turk. Yeah Kayseri is very industrial oriented, and it is now a very modern city.
you watch Turkish TV too? I mean can you understand the turkish language properly?
Samanyolu is a good decision, one of the best turkish channels.
