Another way to hold your lens onto the housing would be to use a PVC coupler. Place the lens on the end of the pipe and then glue the coupler to the pipe. This will hold the lens in place and it will make that end waterproof. You can then cut off the excess coupler.
You could use velcro to keep the camera stay put
