Virgil could have been rencarated into Nero cause 1. Virgil was brought up differently. 2 Nero uses Yamato through the duration of dmc4u for quite a while and to use it for his girl, which virgil hates humans. this is virgil gettin his second chance at life and not his son.

Hence, Virgil possessed Nero's Arm.... no need for Nero to be Virgil's son, besides, if he was then he wouldn't have such a limited DT, and his entire being would be part demon, rather than just his forearm. Virgil absolutely hates humans, so there is no way to justify him having Nero as a son (also Virgil became a mindless slave to Mundus at the end of 3.... not much time for loving up some humans outside of hell)

@StAverti if nero is vergil's son he would be a quarter demon his power would more than likely be like it is now Yamato is amplifying his power so that explains alot about why his dt is a shadow of vergil....its also more likely than mgs syndrome

@Kairadragon Actually, if what i read is accurate, then the new one isnt a reboot at all. it's an origin story that is supposed to explain how dante became like he is in dmc 1. To be honest, idk how accurate it is, but it makes sense to me.

Vergil and Yamato have a link together due to it being his sword now. I'm guessing Nero's blood, which was Vergil's, reacted to Yamato and healed it due to it being his sword. In the DMC4 novel, explaining the past b4 dmc4, his arm transformed form being attacked by a demon. I'm guessing it was his blood boiling for more power.

I dont think nero is vergils son. Cuz if he really is he must be half demon. But hes a human with just a demon arm. And he said he was attacked by a demon and blabla then he got this arm.. I think Vergils soul lives in yamato and Neros arm. That would explain the "since I got this arm i hear a voice in my head saying 'i need more power'" what vergil said in dmc3.... sorry for grammar mistakes...

when did nero say he was attacked by demons? he said "from that day forth, my arm changed and a voice echoed power... give me more power" plus i heard somewhere that the makers actually announced nero being vergils son... not saying im sure, just what i heard

Yeah I remember that. Vergil clasps his fist and says "I need more...POWER!" If my memory serves right when Nero executes a certain move he shouts "BLAST" & "BEGONE" which are Vergils words.

Inclusive when Nero deactivates his Devil Trigger, the blue demon in the back puts his sword away in the same manner as Vergil. I may be wrong but the blue demon kind of looks like Nelo Angelo too. Also let's not miss the obvious clue that his arm and Devil Trigger are blue.

BUT....I could be wrong.

BUT during the last boss when he has about 1-2 bars left if you have any devil trigger left activate it as soon as his shields are off then use the buster on him and listen closely either Nero says Checkmate! or "JACKPOT!"
