  • The irony doesn't stop there. Dig the name of the writer character played by Dick Clark: Leif Early.

  • yes the character was but ... He was damn nice to look at :)

  • Thank you so much for this! Ugh, Barry is one piece of slime. And I've wondered on the irony/melancholia of the last Perry episode being called "The Final Fade-Out." It's so appropriate. I wonder if that title was chosen deliberately, with the producers already knowing it would be the last one.

  • You neglected to mention 2 key guest figures in the episode, Dick Clark, and the only onscreen appearance of the series creator, Erle Stanley Gardner as the trial judge.

  • He is in the courtroom alone for the intro. It used to be packed with supporting characters. Now that is fame!

  • @shanghaibenny2 They changed the intro during that scandal with poor William Talman. But then when it was fixed, they kept the idea of the intros being with Perry alone, for some reason. (Unless season 5 was different, but I doubt it.) Maybe because it wasn't long before Ray Collins had to start decreasing his amount of screentime because of illness....
