It's not really a mistake, I think the id/ego/supergo make up the personality, it might be confused with the theory of the mind and consciousness.

yeah yeah a quick introduction about freud's psychodi...

but whan great MISTAKE in this video is the parts of the brains u were showing when talking about the psychic structure (ego,id and superego) ...the theory is subjective, it didint tell us where these three are located. The id is not in the frontal lobe :-s... u know?

the diagram was kinda primative.....but i do agree that we act based on the pleasure principle and success comes from how well we are at managing what gives us pleasure in society.

@2012rurede - the pleasure principal is fought by the reality principle in the super-ego, but this little clip left out the fact that the id also as the "death" instinct.
