there is a difference between growing some balls and piloting a model aircraft. there was a group of targets surrounding the camera kid and kid flying it, im sure youve seen what a prop hit can do just by starting it i have personally seen a plane crash into a guy at our feild and he has had several reconstructive surgeries, kinda resembles a bad maulling from a pit bull, so yes that is why there is such a big fuss about this
@HiasMatthias that's your opinion, i don't think its dangerous because there is nobody around, look up heli smackdown on the beach, thats an organized event and there is people in the water with helis.

The reason people here are upset is cause guys like this can give other RC pilots a bad name, ban us from otherwise desirable flying fields, increase regulation, etc. Not to mention the risk of property damage or injury to people in the vicinity. In this case him having balls would be knowing he's not up to flying this plane.

That was the worst flying I've ever seen. He almost lost it a few times in each of those flights. You guys need to back off - start with basics - foam park flyers - find a LARGE OPEN park - learn how to fly straight and level before trying tricks. And that cop should have stopped you after the first flight. Really scary.
That was absolutely the worst rc vid I have ever seen! Shitty flying, REALLY shitty music, stupid cops, and stupid teenagers born with a silver spoon in their mouths! You fly that plane into someone or something, it will cost you dearly, definately not safe!

I know it's been said before, but you guys should REALLY not be flying there. Apparently you can keep the plane in the air, but you should probably look into a low wing sport plane to finish up the basics on... and a park flyer at that.
If you really must stick with huge planes, please fly somewhere that won't get everyone in the hobby banned from using their models safely. You're an embarassment to the hobby.
ps im wondering why that dumb ass cop didnt warn them that they were presenting a danger to the public,most school playgrounds have a sign sayin no model planes,because of this and the fact they were not intended for that use.

hey twiz,everyone doesnt belong to the ama ,and i doubt if theese noobs have more skills than spare money,by listening to their commentary,you can tell they are noobs.now even if they cut off their fingers or crash into a car or house,rc modeling wont go away,,sad but true,they will either fix it and crash it again or throw it in the garage to get thrown out later
Why were you flying so low so far away -- it's real easy to get disoriented when you do that. Just stick to tail-touching in a hover at arm's distance dude :-)

I suggest (as an experienced pilot) to join a Club and get an instructor, or you'll end with your airplane crushed in a house or a car...
