  • oh my love of life MAMA mary....I love you forver..no matter wad comes my way..i'm always for *you*...YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION MOTHER.......:)

  • God Bless You All Singing This Hymn

  • "Behold thy mother."(Jesus' entrusting Mary to us at his crucifixion, John 19:27)

"And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars:"(The assumption and coronation or crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth, Revelation/Apocalypse 12:1), at least that's one way some folks have seen these verses.

Nice video. Thanks for sharing with us.

  • cont -- GOD wants everyone to be Perfect and Holy in Heaven. Mary is not going to be more "perfect" or more "Holier" than anyone else in Heaven. (Either you are Perfect and Holy or you are not). This does not dimish Mary in any way, but rather exalts us to her level - thus showing us GOD's incredible LOVE for us who are unworthy. Make sense?

  • @Cherubaby Not all will be equally blessed. Jesus told John and Jacob (or James) that it was not His to give the first places in heaven when they were arguing who would be higher. Did Jesus' genes come exclusively from Mary? Yes. She was "the slave of the Lord", and "Blessed among all women", and got Jesus to work His first miracle at her insistence. She was chosen by the Father, overshadowed by the Holy Spirit to receive the Divine Maternity and is mother of the Divine Savior.

  • @Cherubaby Jesus also said, "there are many mansions", so not all will be equally rewarded, because that is God's decision to make, Not yours.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 OK then, assuming you are correct, WHY should Mary be rewarded "more" than any other true Christian, say St Peter or St Paul? Please explain.

  • @Cherubaby If you don;t think being the chosen mother of Our Divine Savior, source of His human genes, and tabernacle of the Most High is something extraordinarily Great, then your concept of GOD is --woefully inadequate--, and it's just as impossible to explain to you as to explain God to an atheist.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Only HALF His genes He received from Mary! You said Mary will be rewarded "more" and I asked you why? Because Jesus received His genes from her, is that what you are saying? But ALL babies receive half their genes from their mothers, so what is so different about Mary's genes? Just trying to understand your Logic.

  • cont -- The other type of Crown is "Diadema" referring to "Regal Authority", "Rulership" and "Kingly Power." WHO is given the Diadema Crown? Jesus. NO Human being is ever given the Diadema. Why? Because in Heaven we will not be subject to another human being like we are on earth, but to GOD alone. Do we keep our Crowns in Heaven? No. ALL Crowns are cast at the feet of Jesus! Rev 4:10. cont --

  • cont -- Stephanos referring to a "Victor's Crown" (Victory over Sin) or a crown denoting certain types of "worth" or "valor." WHO is given the Stephanos Crown? ALL Christians, including Mary. Stephanos is found in 1 Cor 9:25; Phil 4:1; 1 Thess 2:19; 2 Tim 4:8; Jas 1:12; 1 Pet 5:4; Rev 2:10; 3:11; 6:2; 12:1; 14:14; Rev 4:4,10; 9:7; 2 Tim 2:5; Heb 2:9; Heb 2:7. See how ALL True Christians are given the same Crown (of Victory) as the Woman of Rev 12. cont --

  • Beautiful !

  • Beautiful song ...i loved it,thanks for posting.

  • erm... sister acts version wins this? It's so country-like... lol. Really cheerful though...

  • what a way to butcher a gorgeous hymn!

  • The Bible says NOT to Worship the "queen of Heaven" so what do Catholics do? The opposite! And they think they are obedient to GOD? What a joke!

  • @Cherubaby Where in the Bible does it say that? And are you sure that Catholics do that?

  • @anishjc16 Jeremiah 44:16-19.

  • @Cherubaby Interesting. And what is your say on Revelations 12?

  • @anishjc16 WHO do you think the Woman of Revelation 12 is? Here's a clue: Who did GOD marry and call His "Bride" in the 1st Testament? By the way, no where does it state in Revelation 12 that this woman is a "Queen" of any kind, or the "Queen of Heaven."

  • @Cherubaby Interesting again. I knew you'd say something like that. Never mind. You have your views/opinions which aren't right as you think they are. God bless.

  • @anishjc16 Well if you can show me from the Bible where it says that the Woman in Rev 12 is a "Queen" I will believe you. If only Catholics read the Bible, then their eyes would be opened.

  • @Cherubaby You have a fascination for "Queen". I'd say you take things literally, which is what has caused so many divisions in Christianity. Here's what you can do: read Revelations 12 again (and again, s'il vous plait) and see if something strikes you. Gottes Segne.

  • @anishjc16 I have explained to FRAGIORGIO1. Read my notes and see what you think. I am NOT putting down Mary in any way, but you have to realise that the Bible promises the Stephanos "Crown" to EVERY True Christian, not just Mary.

  • @Cherubaby What is your point exactly? You say the Bible teaches. You say what Catholics do is a joke. Is that what the Bible teaches? Is that what Christianity is all about? If it is, good to know. Oh, and try not taking everything in the literal sense. That's what I've seen you do for a while now. Please.

  • @Cherubaby Revelation 12:1 speaks of a woman "crowned with 12 stars". -- Crowned--. Note how Mary and the Church are somehow combined, because she was the mother of Jesus, and the Church is the body of Christ according to Ephesians and Colossians. In the first (Old Testament) God married Israel, but the Church is the New Israel.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Finally something we can agree on. GOD marries Israel and then Divorces her - with the exception of Judah to which He remains married. Judah is the Remnant of Israel that is transformed into the New Testament Church. The Woman of Rev 12 represents "perfected" Israel (Judah) PERSONIFIED in Mary. In other words, Mary was the 1st person who became what ALL of Israel was supposed to become. The Crown she wears is the "Stephanos" Crown ... cont -

  • @Cherubaby Mary is not "worshipped", even though in England they call some judges, "your worship" I believe. We venerate the virgin mother of our Divine Savior who gave her the greatest reverence, so much so that He performed His first miracle, even though it wasn't His time (as He said), at her insistence for the couple at Cana. Her body gave her genes to Jesus and was the tabernacle of the Most High, you seem to forget. "All generations shall call be blessed" (Lk 1:48). Do you?

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Yes Mary is "blessed" but so is everyone else who does the will of GOD ... or do you believe that GOD's Blessings end with her? Abraham was blessed also, so were the Prophets, and so are we. "Praise be to the GOD and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed "us" in the heavenly realms with EVERY Spiritual blessing in Christ." Ephesians 1:3.

  • This is what it means to live: in everything to say "yes" to the One who is among us.

Our life in this "yes" becomes His glory, the reverberation of His presence within reality.

    - Fr. Stefano Alberto

  • holy translates to helel/lucifer jesus translates to zeus

god translates to hasatan/dagon the beast

  • That's the naffest piece of music I have EVER heard!

  • It's bad enough that it sounds like bad polka/bluegrass, but the cheesy chimes kill it completely.

  • Is this disco or a polka?

The music doesn't reflect the prayer at all.

It makes this great prayer sound almost silly.

    That's my two cents anyhow.

  • Totally inappropriate accompaniment in my view. Sounds very immature, almost a birthday song. Suffice to say that most Christians I share faith with can neither sing, nor translate the words "Salve Regina". Pity.

  • what on earth is that ridiculous carnival music going on behind this beautiful hymn? it sounds like you ought to be listening to it while on a carousel

  • Once in England you could be burned for singing this

  • @cervusadfontes that is because the Anglican Church of England at one time thought it was wrong and heretical to pray to and honor Mary and the saints, but they have changed their views on that.

  • this is good! pax et bonum!

  • I'm not trying to offend anyone here, but this is sung without passion, and the uninspiring plastic oompah style synthesizer music doesn't help either. The hymn itself is divine and inspiring, but this performance just completely isn't. Sorry.

  • @MusTheBunneh this is sung with much passion!

  • love it!!

  • the Music is SO HEAVENLY. So Divine! Fit for the Mother of God

  • amazing video..loved every bit of it...thanks for posting
