Blake is a hero. Opened my eyes to movies in a way I didn't think possible. Got more out of his books then I did in 4 years of film school. Blake, you were a genius and I'm so bummed I'll never get to meet you.

I took his seminar in NYC. He was very kind and generous with his attention and time. So sad that he's gone.

I saw him at a Screenwriter Expo. The room was small packed. I sat on the floor looking up as if in Kindergarten. We watched comedies and he parsed them for us. Then he gave everybody a chance to pitch him. He listened graciously and was so kind to everybody.
A real good man.
