just started playing this game, at first i was like "what the hell?" but now i'm loving it and it's cool music! this is my favorite of the songs, i love the lyrics.
It always sounds like he says "DEATH TO YOUUUUUuUUuUuUuuUuUU" at the end of the song xD And I always look up the lyrics to find out what he really says.... and I always forget..... I think it's funnier if I imagine him saying "Death to you" though, so I don't really care ^o^.

Suddenly, a great light. an explosion. silence.... what a cute story!

That is understandable and that is what I had figured since you seemed so enthusiastic at the beginning and then just stopped abruptly. I will try to find the actual CD myself. I was contemplating this myself, but I did not want to step on your toes since it was you that started it and it was going so well for a while. A shame it could not last. A good effort though, the story was really coming along.
By the way... what is the chorus singing? Dubawasha? I know that is not it, but I am not catching what it is. Anyone know? Or are they not singing any thing and just making a noise to match the music?
Hahahaha! Yea it looks like it is going at a rather slow pace, but still going... if we use what The1 just did or parts of it I can go off of that, but I think we would still need more input than just two people taking turns... I think what worked so good the first few times was it just came out naturally, now we are just trying to push it along which takes away from it unfortunately.
And as they walk down the beach, with the guy still being sung to, they come to a cruise ship docked at the beach and they get on, with Charlie leading the way. On the boat, some butlers escort the guy to a changing room, where, (behind a dressing screen), he gets fully clothed in vacation style clothes, with Charlie dramatically singing just outside the door as the guy comes back out. It's been getting dark and the butlers are lighting tiki torches and turning on stringed up rainbow lights.
The guy goes up to the bow of the ship and looks out onto the ocean. Then, the boat stops by a peninsula with a classic looking lighthouse on it. Charlie is up there singing (with backup dancers all around) and instead of a lamp, in the middle of the lighthouse is a huge disco ball. As the song nears the end, suddenly dolphins start to leap over the boat, jets of water are sprayed from the sides of the lighthouse, (running out of space to write...)
(part two) ...and the entire scene is lit by fabulous fireworks going off behind the lighthouse, where in the sky you can see all the many shining stars. As the song finishes, we just see the night sky, when there is a sudden ding sound.
...the elevator doors from the beginning open, and the guy, back in his business suit, steps out of the elevator with a smile on his face.
Somebody needs to make this. It would be amazing XD
I shall continue... After all, I'm the one who initially added on to the first bit, so I'll try to get the ball rolling again ;D... And listening to it, here's what popped into my head:
As all the girls are doing their wave dancing, Charlie steps down and walks toward the guy, still singing and motions for him to follow. They walk down the long beach with a few of the girls taking off his business jacket, replacing it with a Hawaiian shirt and give him sunglasses and a drink, as they leave.
...... and then, out of the ocean, comes a guy wear a straw boater hat and a hawaiian shirt and shirt and starts the steel drum solo....... hopefully you guys like the idea :D
...and then girls come from the hole in cocktail dresses, colorful red and purple tones and they are intertwining between the band and waving their arms in the air depending on the direction they are moving making it appear like a human ocean and they pass the guy on the couch...
But this is one of my favorite songs on Katamari, maybe because it is in English or because it has that old Frank Sinatra flair to it. But what is the last song at the credits where you roll up the world?
If no one does one in about a week I will do another, whether you use it or not is up to you. However, you could make the story last longer and this is just the beginning of the story... make the story last all the way to the end of the song. Of course you can use your discretion on how long each story or bits of story stay up to be read and then go away to give room for other parts, but you could make it stretch as long as people kept giving you in put.
...and then as the guy is lounging, the fountain in front of him stops spouting water and slides backwards, revealing an open hole. From the huge hole rises a tropical stage with Charlie Kosei (the singer) and his island jam band put on an amazing performance for the guy....
...One of the backup dancers place him in a lounge and begins to massage his shoulders. Another one brings him an ice cold lemon tea and top of the notch grapes to eat while he bobs his head to the music...
...... And then sharks fly to the tiki huts and become bartenders. The platypuses come out of hiding to ballroom dance with other dancers. They even take off their business-like suits and ties.....
i could picture a businessman in manhattan listening to this at some bistro on a rainy day dreaming of his company rolling over smaller ones and growing in the process
...... And then the elevator door opens up just as he begins singing the main part and it's a tropical beach resort with a tiki bar and backup dancers......

That's one of the reasons why I like it so damn much.
Other reason, Namco did and excellent job on the music as well.
