Paramore is all about Hayley Williams, and that shows pretty bad on Riot!, the band's second album. The music is as plain and generic as it gets, sounding like just about every other pop rock/emo band out there right now. Hayley is a decent singer, and the melodies, although nothing groundbreaking, are actually quite decent. At the end of the day this is good music for teens who THINK that they're rockers but are actually good pop kids.

What does "this" Paramore mean? I mean, come on, they haven't changed...the only difference is that, now, more people know about them. They're still writing for the same reasons. They still love their fans, and they still write amazing songs--they're just more experienced. Why would you want them to go back to the beginning? Don't you start a race so you can run it? They're running towards the finish line, and you want to pull them back to their starting point. I say we should cheer them on!
Josh said this song he wrote with Hayley convinced the label to make Paramore stay (this was before their first album), and for good reason. I'd love to see videos like this, where they were still starting out.

Might not be your twist, but check out Eddie Pesos "Hayley", rapper from Philly song about Williams. Maybe it'll open your mind to new stuff, like Paramore did for me.
Wow, the vocals in this are terrible but she came pretty close to nailing the "hallelujah" which ironically is the hardest part to sing (so I guess the part she practises the most). Her live singing has improved quite a bit by now though.
it doesnt make me happy to say this, but, it is not her best vocal :/ there are so many other vids where her vocals are prefect. Shame about this one :(
