  • GO CALI

  • I like how you dyed your eyebrows to match.

  • Go New Yorker! Stay real, cause these non confrontational, suppress all emotions mofos out here aren't, but I do like their laid back accent. Gives me reason to boss them around.

  • I pronounce things like the guy....but I'm from Michigan....o.O

  • @MrCokeDose Bitch norcal all day but hey at least were both better than the valley pricks

  • @griffjag2020 real talk bruh the valley hella gay we got sac the bay and more fuck them so cal fags

  • lol who says ape-ricot

  • FUCK NORCAL

    SOCAL FOR LIFE

  • Us Californians are most known for being Rock Stars, Skaters, Professional Surfers, Musicians, Fashion Stylists, and most importantly Movie Makers and Actors.

  • the chick is right.

  • its a chink and a niggerfaggot

  • That girl looks so weird

  • What the heck is an Ahrange?? lol

  • I'm from brooklyn and the guy is right lol but i do have a california accent even though i was born and raised in bk

  • Im sorry did you dye your eyebrows >_>

  • the girl is hottt...if it's your channel...you're hottt!

  • @ogringofromdownunder I've heard English people from the UK pronounce "water" like the New York accent (somewhat), like "waw-uh" or "waw-taah", depending. I try to be a "literalist" sometimes, so I'm trying to correct my accent to go along with how the word is spelled lately. lol!

  • I think she's wrong on apricot, but he's wrong on orange... and this is coming from a New Yorker who has grown up pronouncing orange like "arr-inje".

She's correct on "coffee", but I also pronounced it "kaw-fee". lol (I'm correcting myself now)

    She's correct on "water".

As for "awesome" I think in between hers and his accent. lol Just my opinion.

I'll never choose to pronounce apricot like "ape-ricot". lol! I'd think you're saying "APE" before you finish the entire word every time! lol!

  • I bet they hit it.

  • most of western US sounds the same.

  • I sound more like the Californian... but my state is closer to New York.

  • that girl is hot.

  • how did i get here from watching BF3 vids?

  • @machinimater arent all people from california either valley girls beach bums or stoners lol

  • Are her eyebrows purple?

  • Do people from NY really pronounce stuff like that O_o

  • @Kripto95 No, I sound more like the californian. But, I live in Upstate not NYC.

  • @robbsclassics Yeah, I used to live upstate NY for a few years. More Manhattan people would relate more to Californians or upstate NYers accent-wise than they would to Brooklynites and such. lol ;)

  • @Kripto95 Not all. Many people in Manhattan do not sound ANYthing like those in neighboring Brooklyn Queens or Staten Island. I know, I traveled and worked in Manhattan for years before moving out of NY eventually. It depends, there are different accents within the same area of the city! But when someone says a "Noo Yawk" accent, they usually mean one that sounds like Brooklyn or Staten Island, even certain parts of New Jersey.

  • So I guess I am dumb but the guy is from New York right? I am from New York :)

  • This is such a cute, laid back video! I love your hair and brow :D

I cant hear much of accents from either minus a few select words lol.

  • I'm from New Jersey and I think the guy sounds normal, it's the girl that sounds weird.

  • people from California dont have an accent unless there valley girls beach bums or stoners

  • she shouldn't take so many addictives...

  • You know there was some intense sex, after this was shot.

  • @evilashxero no i think he's gay ! /D

  • @evilashxero doubt it, he's gay

  • wtf is an ARRANGE? Hella funny!

  • That guy should definitely marry me ;D

  • he is cute and you're pretty :)

  • HES HAWT .

  • Californians are different from the south and north, as well as people from the west coast to the east coast of the united states

  • I wish I had 1 of their accents! I have a dang Colorado accent. Or as i say it "accen"

  • Haha. I was born in California but last summer I moved to NY.

  • @thedivergent1 Did you easily find friends in ny?

    bye

  • @phluTuber Well on the first days of school not really, but once another girl moved to the same town I did, well we became really good friends :3

  • i geuss he would Really think i sound stupid..cause im from texas in all...

  • Im 18 and from orange county, and all you people who believe the California stereotypes portrayed by those lame ass tv shows are idiots. "chill out brah"

  • he tapped that or she tapped that

  • Californians are abunch of pot head stoners and new yorkers are kinda stuck up sometimes D=

  • @XxBeTeLeJuIcExX You're not from either. Are you.

  • @MOOP000 Im from Cali..thats how i know the pot head thing.

  • @XxBeTeLeJuIcExX I'm from SoCal. Though, admittedly, I like the laid-back pot-head stereotype than any kind of Hollywood one.

  • cute and yes definitely...appricot!! not ape-ricot. lol

  • I lived in California and never knew I had an accent until well I lived there for a year-It was weird to me -and hey it is a short A sound for Apricot!!!! lololol ...I live right next to NY !!!

  • that's hilarious actually. how different two people from different ends of the same country.

  • If you, ever, I mean ever, start a video with a yell again, I will personally come and send you a fist to the face, because that is what you sent to my ears.

  • she totally wants him,!

  • Why do people say Californians talk fast? Btw love the vid

  • i like them white tits

  • New york my niggaz tht frm New york

  • Um...hmm...I am from Northern California and I say apricot like the guy, not the girl so...

  • I'm from South Jersey (NJ) and I pronounce things more like the girl from California than the guy from NY! P.S I love your hair! It's awesome

  • @voorheesjkilmer where in south jersey cuz i talk a lot like the guy, n i live in pennsauken

  • I love your hair and eyebrows!! Oooh

  • Nobody's going to make fun of your accent in New York City because half the people walking around aren't even speaking English...

  • I'm from Connecticut, and the girl doesn't sound like she has an accent. We say apricot like the boy, but the girl says coffee like us. Were really close to New York so we mix it up with words, but i dont think she has much of an accent.

  • I still have an accent thank god. I'm from Alabama so it's a southern accent(:

  • you guys are fun to hang with! btw, I'm a new yorker!

  • I love your eyebrows omg

  • Ahh! I love his accent. I'm from Northern California and to me, the girl doesn't have an accent, but the guy does.

  • @xxiluvallthePOISONxx im from jersey and she has an accent to me lol

  • @xxiluvallthePOISONxx Different accents to our ears are refreshing, like tasting a new type of food for the first time, it's new and fresh, so it's a nice thing compared to the "same ol, same ol". It's almost always like this with humans and accents (among other things). It's natural, I think, but it's also natural to gravitate to those whom we relate to more. Well, it all depends on the person, really. :)

  • accents are still around, and some are pronounced, but they are strting to fade out due to the influence of pop culture, like movies and TV. I served once with adude from Tennessee who spoke with the same accent I have, I'm from Orange County California

  • @jrooksable To a degree, this is true. The more people hear accents in popular culture, the more they start to adapt to them on their own. This is usually what all humans do concerning accents if they hear one a lot, over and over. It's just automatic. It'll probably take another 100 years for it to be across the U.S. though, there are still strong accents! It'll take quite a bit of time for that to change.

  • dude she's hot

  • I was so wishing you two would do more words.... he said them all right btw ;)

  • guys hot :)

  • you two look cute together

  • I'm from the valley.

    do I have an accent?

  • @ilikeyourface10 EVERYONE has an accent, even Californians

  • @ilikeyourface10 Yes, do you!

  • You two are so chill haha I wish I could find people like that in upstate NY

  • @leannaxc17 I used to live upstate NY back in the mid to late 1980s. That's when I was 5-9 years old though. It was beautiful. Lived in the mountains. When it snowed, it was like a winter wonderland. Loved it so much. I remember going on a big hill and I could literally see another mountain from what seemed to be 50+ miles away. Awesome! Uhg, now I miss it so much the more I talk about it. AH!! :-)

  • lol, this vid is so fun to watch lol, you two seem like great people ^^v

  • this video is soooooo randome yet i couldnt stop smiling!

  • Purple eyebrows. I've never seen that before.

  • i'm on the weird part of you tube again

  • im from san diego cali and people in maryland, where i moved, tell me i have a southern accent...californians do not!

  • dude is right lol but thats cuz im from nh and hes wrong about coffee lol

  • you sound like a valley girl...lol i guess most people from los angeles do.

  • Is that person on the right a male or a female?

  • hey im from miami fl. and the disney world castle in fl was originated there and the first one then came the california and china and paris other disney land but all the characters and pretty much everything was originall in fl not trying to brag just correct becouse my uncle works at the disney world company so i know

  • @TheMacbeauty06 Big boast, small roast. Disneyland in Anaheim, CA opened July 18, 1955. Walt Disney World in Lake Beuna Vista, FL opened October 1, 1971. Walt Disney attended opening day for Disneyland but died from lung cancer prior to the opening of Disney World.

  • @TheMacbeauty06 disney world opened in 1971. disneyland in 1955.

  • @TheMacbeauty06 yeah... except for thats kinda the opposite. the one in Anaheim, CA came first...

  • im from boston and i feel like most americans sound the same. unless you have a very strong like brooklyn accent (this guy doesnt have a strong one) or a strong boston accent or new jersey accent or your from the south then everyone sounds the same. but if you really wanna look at it and narrow it down its pretty much an american accent and southern ameriacn accent. its the way i look at it haha

  • That's funny, I'm from PA but I say Apricot like him but orange like her.

  • im a new yorkerr we have the best accents evah. bejealous everyone..LONG ISLAND REPPINNN

  • I went to Cali two years ago and New York last year and I learned that the people in New York actually had a lot less in common with me than the people from Cali. I'm from Ohio.

  • @xxchelseaxnicolexx ahhh me too

  • @xxchelseaxnicolexx Only people from Philly, Boston or Jersey City would have more in common with a New Yorker (from the city) compared to other cities around those parts, really. I always pictured Ohio being more like a mid-western State anyway, culturally. But I've never been there, and only going on filtered information from what I've seen on TV (not much...)... so... lol

You'd probably have much more in common with a New Yorker from upstate (in the mountains).

  • uuggghhh..get to it already..i have a very short attention span.

  • her eyebrows. They are purple. :D

  • it seems like i'm a closet californian, cuz I pronounce all the words like her and i'm from nj! except the ape-ricots, though. It's apricots. :p

  • and gay

  • that dude sounds Californian with a splash of NY

  • 0:30 epic face on the girl lol

  • New Yorker and Californian....neither one represents TRUE America!

  • @CheckM8King2 Than what IS a TRUE American? You're comment makes no sense

  • Comment removed

  • @CheckM8King2 lol thats a stereotype. And NY was an original part of the 13 colonies. I think thats more American than the midwest lol. NY is prob one of the most American places in the U.S considering its the melting polt of the U.S and consists of almost every culture that has come to the U.S.

  • @CheckM8King2 Well, if you're going to go there, then you'd have to bring in an indigenous 'Native American' (those who were here long before Columbus arrived) to have a TRUE American, huh? ;-)

That would mean those who are currently sneaking across the Mexican border are way more TRUE American than you are. lmao!

  • @Northax Among my other "mutt like" ancestry is that of the Ottawa nation...does that count for you...LOL

  • Anyone who doesn't have a New York accent just sounds stupid

  • Comment removed

  • @lilgretzkypro187 ... I'm Californian... and I'm telling you... you guys are going way too far

  • @Hawaiianpizzaforever lol why's that?

  • people have actually tried to tell me I don't have an accent, I know EVERONE has an accent, it's just that the Califonia accent has become ubiquitous!

  • @jrooksable It might seem that way only thanks to Hollywood, maybe. But there's more than one California accent, isn't there? The 'surfer-dude' accent (like being stoned all the time), or the "ditzy" valley-girl accent. lol!

  • it is properly pronounced "ape-rikot"

  • I'm from Jersey and when I first started talking to a female friend of mine from California, she loved making me say coffee, dog, water, etc... She thought it was cute.

  • your def of asian descent! very cute!

  • She has the right Orange and he has the right apricot.

  • @chevyarocks You think that because you are probably from midwest like me. we take the best of all accents

  • @shibboleth17 Haha, actually EAST COAST!!! NEW ENGLAND :) But yeah... haha. Midwest has a specific accent too. I like Brooklyn accents, my fav <3 :)

  • i think he's absolutely hot

  • ANNOYING ORANGE!!!!!!!

  • Dude, your pink eyebrows are kinda weird.

  • why the fag? you need a man that can stick you on the wall

  • @gajda1984 A fag to a Brit would be a cigarette...

  • Lol, Americans trying to tell each other how things are pronounced both in the wrong way. Try hearing an English person pronouncing a word in their OWN language, far from this shit.

  • Comment removed

  • @Vitaluv You're right. Even the English language itself is not "pure."

It's a mixture of Germanic and Latin (and others!)! :-)

  • @AniisaCaali You don't know much if you think all Englishmen pronounce words the same exact way, bud. lol! ;-)

  • Neww Yorker over here :)

  • i'd stick my pecker in her and stick my hand down her shirt

  • Love it

  • The object of speach is to communicate. The number of local people communicating in a given area are far greater than the out of area interlopers. So in order to make yourself the most understood to the most people, adapt and speak like the locals. Therefore local pronuciation is the most realitively correct pronunciation.

  • Being a western Canadian, I agree with each of their pronunciations to an extent. I pronounce half of the words one way and half the other :-/

  • yeah they're definitely fucking.

  • Fuck, New York. Last year, they got hit by a small earthquake, and the news was everywhere. Lol pathetic.

  • @aaron93m Because earthquakes there are uncommon and damage to even small infrastructure can mean millions.

  • @aaron93m NY is not set up to deal with earthquakes like Cali is; the buildings in NY, therefore, can more easily collapse and it's very unexpected there to have an earthquake; a rare occasion indeed. It'd be like snowing for 3 days straight in southern Florida in the middle of July -> insane. lol!

Here in Virginia, we had a 5.8 earthquake not long ago. I thought something hit the house... like a big truck. lol! Very unexpected here. If in Cali, I'd have not been surprised though...

  • I'm from France so my english accent really sucks lol, but i have to say i prefer the californian accent :), hotter i guess ^^ and i really like your pink (or purple ^^) eyebrows and hair, that's lovely :)

  • im from brooklyn

apricot how he says it - coffee (i say it how he says it, but we are the only ones who say it like that) - makes me feel special lol

    disney world by farrrrrrrr '

and orange how he says it but i guess it can go either way.

entertaining video - ive been to san fran and san diego (like san diego alot better) lol

  • Apricot is how he says it.

Orange I say can go either way, but I say it like him.

Coffee I think is supposed to be said how she says it, but I say it like he does.

Disney world over Disney land any day :)

BTW I love your hair and and eyebrows :) Loved the video :D

  • I say apricot like him and orange like her. I'm from Wisconsin, a little bit in the middle.

  • Valley? 818!

  • i love her hair

  • the guy says the word right

  • this sucks...

  • Did anyone else notice that dude doing a british accent when he said Hi at 11 seconds?

  • We say appircotts like her, here in England xD

  • @xChatRooms101x I'm a weirdo, I say both :) It depends on how I feel like saying it at the moment.

  • @xChatRooms101x Yeah, well... you Englishmen do not know how to speak English!

    Ha! ;-P

  • Australian here, I just hear two Americans.

  • @iamthe1337est I'm Aussie, but I've been in America for a while..there is a bit of a difference. Annoying thing is Americans think I'm English lol.

  • @IIproductionsII I can tell an Australian apart from an Englishman. I've watched enough TV and movies to tell the difference.

You sound like Steve Irwin, right? lol! Just kidding.

Crocodile Dundee (I watched the movie a million times as a kid)? Outback Steakhouse commercial guy?

    ;-)

  • @Northax Lol man, you're on like some mass replying session!

Yeah, I got a house in Ca, and it just pisses me off when everyone thinks I'm English. You don't have to say "mate" all the time and talk like all those outback dipshits to be Australian. Here in Aus, people who sound like the stereotypical Australian are known as dumbass's.

  • @iamthe1337est It's so hard to distinguish the regions in other countries. Im american and they sound incredibly different.

  • @iamthe1337est idt this is based on accents

  • @iamthe1337est their both american, well clearly, but the video is about certain word pronunciation. Because different regions in the U.S. pronounce words different.

  • @IntoTheFrenzy89 yeah, she pronounces them properly and he....does not!

  • @jrooksable His pronunciations are actually the same as mine. I'm from Philadelphia.

  • @jrooksable I actually pronounce everything like him (except coffee) and I'm not from the north and I kinda have a valley girl accent but I'm not from the west coast either lol

  • @iamthe1337est That's like a European saying:

"European here, Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee look the same."

    lol! ;-P

Once you've heard both accents long enough, you can pick out the slight differences. If you've not heard them long enough and only just now for the first time, you'll not pay attention to the slight differences and just be overwhelmed by the immense different in their accents compared to your Australian accent. Same goes for looks ("all look alike" etc.). It's human
