Pokémon touches your heart a lot, and anyone who has stuck with Pokémon for a long time can tell you that. It's more than a game for us. Every time we play it, especially in our childhoods, it's like a diary entry etched to your memories, filled with happiness.

I'm fairly certain the green train is a comment on capitalism. In an rpg, you usually care a lot about maximizing your stats, efficient training, etc. Here, you are given the option of taking an expensive train. You expect that your ride will be beneficent towards your playthrough, but in reality, it didn't help at all. At the same time, because of capitalism, you have the option of hearing more pleasant music, thus experiencing more joy. In life and game, practicality and joy conflict heavily.
