Actually I agree with you, this version of one winged angel is less than par with the original as well as the Black Mages version and Advent Children. This one just seems a bit childish and rather simple when it comes to instruments.

The song's name is "The World's enemy" what it happens is that the original name for the song is "The one winged angel" but in Crisis Core appears like this name.

Sephiroth has no meaning other than "The path to becoming a God" that is what a sephiroth is. This is also why Sephy was given that name because that was exactly what he was doing; trying to become a god.

Well it is a long story. There were 2 friends Angeal,Genesis,Sephiroth. All of them got a chirurgical intervention and this made from them monsters with one wing. For more info go to Final Fantasy wikia.
