  • great!

  • pure art!

  • @ thomas jessen there are cross-hand and same-side techniques in Aikido. go train at a dojo and instead of watching O'Sensei videos on youtube in order to be a black belt.

  • Wrists must be crossed. If holding ukes left hand, you must grab his hand with your right hand and his wrist with your left hand. Watch O'sensei!

  • I would like to take some lesson with him. ;) wonderful

  • What is this? Tai-jutsu?

  • Newer possible to enter like that! Arms must always be crossed when entering shiho-nage. Watch the old O'sensei videos!!!

  • @thomasjessen Man.. that is an advance grabbing, I've only seen this enter on 7th dan and above, as you can see hands are like handling a Ken or a katana, That's what aikido is.. the movements from Jo and katana. Endo Shihan was O'sensei student for many years, is 8th dan almost 9th. And with all respect, I think writing a critic about Endo shihan technique, shows you have no idea about what aikido is.

  • @miloedo I might be wrong but in an interview Endo shihan said that he trained under O Sensei's students like Yamaguchi shihan. Look for it, it's very interesting. Bye.

  • @thomasjessen in what way should they be crossed? and when do you meand?

If aikido is derrived from using the sword, how could you cross the arms entering a Yokomen attack ? or do you mean like Nishio sensei does it?

  • Dude...

You must be pretty darn excellent to dare critique tha master.

  • Very nice aikido. I would say that at around 0:13 - 0:15, he is pretty close to giving uke's balance back. I'd be keeping uke's arm much more extended while i'm turning underneath...

  • the uke's balance was never properly taken

I have train with him personally and it is all up to the uke do do every thing just how he want or else he can not apply techniques, you really do have to run around for him

  • Not true at all. I tried to test him and not follow him. He just does something different. Yes, there is a style that he likes and prefers a certain type of ukemi but trust me, he can down you anytime he wants.

  • @hosie27 i´ve also trained with him, and sure, it doesnt look like it does in this video if Uke doesnt in some ways "do it himself" but no aikido would ever look like aikido if Uke doesnt behave in a certain way. We train in kata form. Nothing wrong with that - it must be trained in that fasion i think ....

  • @711shamn you see the master is controlling him by holding uke's elbow with the right hand..

as you said he is pretty close, but he did not give him his balance back

  • the most beautiful aikido i have ever seen in this stage. So eager to participant his seminar.
