The 50mm f/1.8 E (pancake) is actually a better lens wide open than the 1.4, which suffers from chromatic abberation wide open. I'd say go get the series E nikkor 50mm 1.8, it's small and does really nice pictures. I have both, as well as 55mm f/1.2, nikkor micro 55mm f/2.8 (wonderful macro!)
what kind of adapter did you use for the gh1 w/a nikon 50mm lens?

@ericohman i just bought the gh1. I will buy the nikkor pancake as you said. The nikkor is better than the lumix 20mm 1.7?
