I'm still waiting for Ultrasabers to have yellow available for a blade color. Archon v2 w/ a yellow blade, it'll be mighty smexy. it's a converted Fx Saber isal3 but it's not big and bulky it's the same as a real graflex, but it is not screen accurate as hayden's (aka Anakin's Saber) is 1.35" in diamter andthe stunt combat saber was 1.25" in diamter a graflex and Fx saber is 1.5" in diamter.
some people hate the canon idea. i personally do. I like unique sabers. i have this exact saber, green blade as well. much nicer than blue. it's just different.
@taichix No this is not a 'stunt' saber, it is an ultrasaber. That means that only the blade color has been changed and that it is removable. A 'stunt' saber is a far more simple version of a saber made with lightweight parts that are easily replaceable, incase you break it.
I have a maul dual blade ultrasaber, anakin ultrasaber, and luke rotj ultrasaber. All did a wonderful job with them. I had my anakin coverted to a orange saber. I have another master replica saber which is the stock blue, more or less my personal jedi saber. That's why I wanted to customize the color. They just brought back one color and also added purple. For a long time they couldn't do it. So now you can convert your Mace Windu sabers.

I have been wanting to pick up a lightsaber for some time now and while I have seen some very nice custom sabers, my favorite was always the original "your father wanted you to have this, when you were old enough" Luke Skywalker ANH. When I saw your review, I went over to Ultrasabers and ordered. That was 4 weeks ago and I'm still waiting, dam it's hard :)
Cool. Kinda reminds me of Lukes ANH saber when the blade looked green at first ya know. Possibly from alot of years of it not being used. I might get the Luke ANH UltraSaber in green now. Thanks for the idea. Lol. Then some other time I might get a red Anakin ROTS UltraSaber. I got some original fx sabers and I might keep some of them as collectibles except for my Luke ROTJ which I might convert sometime.
Can you change its color? Because if seen people change the color of the blade with a press. Of a button arent ultra FX sabers always able to do this?
@Njits1992 What you probably saw was actually another type of ultrasaber. There are all kinds of different custom sabers. I believe the ones you are talking about are the "E-series" sabers, which can change colors with the press of a button, but do not have any sound. They are also known as stunt sabers.
Well there is an Saber on Ultrasabers with Sound and changeable colours on button :D.. but its not 11 month old.. just wanted to update your answer a bit :) maybe Njits1992 is interrested in it!
on the website it says that you can either fix the saber or switch with another one but can you get a completely different hilt or you have to get the same one your trading in

do you think converting my Anakin Rots fx lightsaber to an ultrasaber will fix the damaged power central in mine? see what is wrong with mine is that it sometimes turns itself off and then wont let me turn it back on unless i take out the NEW batteries and put them back in, i like my lightsaber but i took a look and i really want that fire orange convertion lol but i dont want to fork out the money if it just get coverted and still has the problem.
@doomwolf86 my maul has the same problem. i have a master replicas maul. it was not converted. the problem is your batterypack not being tightly connected to the prongs on the inside. tighten the cap on the end of your saber all the way, and if that doesnt help, then get a thin rubber washer or sumthing to put in there to help it stay firm. the best way to tell if this is the problem is by having the cap OFF of your saber and pressing the batrypak in firmly while turning it on.
Well i tested them in pitch black nd the fx beat it. But i def like my ultrasaber more bc of the removeable blade. Im gunna buy the orange oppressor soon. Cnt wait!!

@Cyris606 It is a little bit brighter than fx, but you should test them both with fresh batteries as well. Plus the blade is removable so you can't beat that.
actually the conversion doesn't just make it brighter, you can actually duel with it. it' pretty much indestructible and water proof too =) the only bad thing is that when you turn it on the light doesn't climb up the blade like the movie's and such. but it still does the sound effect of course turning on and off. i would seriously consider going with the conversion, it's orgasmic.
on the 3rd when obi battles general grievous he had obis lightsaber from the 3rd with a blue & green blades & he had anakins to from the 3rd with a blue & green blade so if you get them you will have the grievous set =D

yea i have this blade and left it in blue because i don't want to do the conversion because then it will lower it's value like a couple years from now if it gets discontinued because then it isn't true to the movie i chose to leave mine as blue but if it were green it would also be really nice but it wouldn't be true to the movie
The fx blade get black spots called dead LEDs if you duel with them too much, they arent nearly as durable and would break if they went into battle with an ultrasaber
alright cool, but another question. i've seen vids of blades called hyper blades and they are rlly bright but the sound seems like it really sucks. i didn't know if they had MR's with the hyperblade attachtment that had the same great sound like the luke model from ANH. i don't even know if the hypers are good or not for like dueling and stuff. thx man

i'd say look thru all of the hilts pick out your favorite and look thru all the colours and pick out which you like best with that hilt. =] My favorite is the mace hilt with the silver blade.
I am partial to the anakin ep.3 hilt. Obviously with a green blade, but a red blade would look equally bad ass. If you have a mace windu that would also make a great ultrasaber.

Yes. The Hasbro sabers are actually a little bit smaller ( in diameter) and most of them require AAA batteries instead of AA. The ONLY noticeable differences are in the Obi-wan saber, which uses a few different materials on the hilt. Other than that there is no real difference.
Yes they are about $100 more than regular fx. I know it sounds like a lot but they convert these sabers all by hand and it takes time and special materials and machine parts to do so. Also the blade is removable so how can you beat that?

no but seriosly i am so amazed because i have not used my force fx lightsabers in a while. and i decided today to put brand new batteries in all of them. and i happened to stumple upon ultra sabers and started browsing the site and just like you i love the aniken hilt and the green blade. and when i relized i could do that i was impressed. so i decided to search on youtube aniken ultra saber and saw this. when i saw you have exactly what i want and you posted it today i was amazed thnx good vid.

No. You can order a pre-converted fx lightsaber straight from 'ultrasabers'. Look for the 'ultra fx' page. They average $250.

no but seriosly i am so amazed because i have not used my force fx lightsabers in a while. and i decided today to put brand new batteries in all of them. and i happened to stumple upon ultra sabers and started browsing the site and just like you i love the aniken hilt and the green blade. and when i relized i could do that i was impressed. so i decided to search on youtube aniken ultra saber and saw this. when i saw you have exactly what i want and you posted it today i was amazed thnx good vid.
