No. women are given more legal & societal privileges in US than men in divorce law, affirmative action, state aid, prosecution, sinking boat, draft, children, protections under law, the media, jobs, bars, clubs, hotels, options / choices etc. equality doesnt really exist unless you believe equality to be a situation where men are left with less choices and higher expectations.
