I have same ones on my 11 street bob. When mine is cold it sounds the same but it gets warmed up it quites down. Do u dyno it when had the pipes on?

I love that air filter cover, I have the exact same one on my 08 fat-bob.

maybe it slows down when warm but it sound like you would bang some gears about shifting into first at that rpm

Yeah , the stock system should be able to compensate for small changes but id be wary of big ones that the exisiting system cannont compensate for.

Wish they had that style on the market when I purchased my 07' they only had chrome short shots. But they sound good. May have mine powder coated!

For Jamo2006, no that is not oil on the ground under the bike. After installing the pipes they had fingerprints all over them, so the puddle on the ground is water from washing it down...
