Can someone help? I have this in my system along with 2 slicks on Corsair vengeance memory. The problem is that i can only use the 2nd channel as the cooler is blocking channel 1. Would it be best to turn it so it's facing upwards or modify it or the ram?

@xXDP5150Xx For me, no. It goes over the 2 closest DIMM slots and the others are free... So if your going to use the closest DIMM's to the cpu I'd get a low profile ram stick :)

@hokko1 Around 100% I've seen it around 40-60c... Although the first time I used this I didn't put much thermal paste and my temps were like 90c! Then I took it out and changed it up... I'd recommended to put a good amount of thermal paste, not to much, not to little... Now there around 53c under load! Not OC

@zajec11 not like the cool and quiet cause cool and quiet i believe it under volts a bit and lowers the frequency based on usage and heat plus controls the fans also but the Qfan what does is only setup the fans anyway you like without undervolting or lowering frequency right now im at 56C stable at 3.7GHZ with a Phenom II 955BE and i cant even hear the fans and if you have a not so big but good case aka Sentey Optimus 6000R its a bit of a pain to instal

@Rapagangsta four 8mm heat pipes I just got this cooler on sale for $26 at bestbuy lol. Its a great cooler. But just so you know if you have RAM with big heat spreaders then the cooler will get in the way. I had to move my RAM to the outer slots. Its a very quiet cooler even with two fans. My CPU temps went from amost 50c under load to 34 under load. Great cooler.

The last language is Russian...seesh I also installed one today for a client, absolutely amazing performance, a bit cumbersome to install but honestly no harder than any other heatsink/fan. The fans are not too loud, it's barely noticeable over ambient noise at the clients location. Ambient Room Temp: ~24C. CPU Idle: 30C, CPU 100% load (Prime95) ~57C. Arctic Silver 5 compound. Core i5 720. I expect the usual post-cure temp drop and will be checking in with my client in 2 weeks.
