Look just get a thick green cloth i shot this in the studio at my school but i done things with a cloth that i bought from jo-ann fabrics. you just need the software to key it i use after effects. you can use final cut but you can do more with AE.

No i did everything myself. Set up lights, turn the camera on, edit green screen, EVERYTHING...lol It was good experience though. Check out my Lupe fiasco video the cool i did all of that also. When cutting i just listened to the song over and over and then picked out the video to the lyrics. Other than that there was no format.
